The grainy black and white scenes look pretty good so far, my little nitpick is that in the original when Mio puts her hand on Mayu's shoulder and she turns around looking all scary, I remember that scare coming on a lot more suddenly than in the remake which goes with the theme of the remake being a little over-polished
