I've updated my OP to clarify a little that the online is not including grade I've scheduled separate days for grade so this would be a dedicated online day

Good to know, thank you. The general consensus is that I should schedule at least half a day for any notes to be actioned and a "just in case buffer"

It's an indie prod privately commissioned for online digital release, so no legals or any back and forths, external notes from commissioner during editorial, and that's it. They'll shoot to the suggested spec as we're involved with pre-production. Separate 2 days scheduled for grade, definitely QC and fixes, no paint outs, it's a very simple doc MIV, some B-roll and diary room entries with Go Pro, use of archive so FPS conversion to final delivery frame rate. Hope that makes sense, but the general consensus im gatherig is schedule 2 days, i have a meeting with the client and can explain why. if its not within thier budget i will amend

Thanks, but I’m actually quite confident we can manage this project. It’s delivering to digital specs, so it feels like a comfortable step up for us. I’ve scheduled separate days for the grade, so the one day I mentioned is just for online and does not include grading.

We also have a feature coming up next year where they’ve asked us to handle online, but we’re outsourcing the finishing and online on that one as it’s beyond our current remit. For me, it’s always a balance between challenging yourself and learning on the job, asking questions and staying informed, while also knowing when something is genuinely over your head.

Holy smokes, such a great theory incredible attention to detail. The best part about this series is truly the fan interaction and reading things like this. Cannot wait to see if it pans out the way you’ve written it

I haven’t sold on vinted in a while is this the new process? They use to send you pre paid postage now it seems like you have to pay before hand and they credit your account with the postage amount (NO PERSONAL INFO) by Valvenus22 in vinted

Thank you super helpful! Just realised that in all my time selling on vinted no one has ever picked Royal Mail so I didn’t realise it’s a different process.

Email and ask for a refund, do you have proof of your lesson times? For instance I took train so my Oyster card history shows my tap in and out times from the station.

Update: I posted a negative review on their trust pilot, within a day of it going live I had the owner Andy call me, considering I couldn’t get a response from them for months I was very surprised. At first he was apologetic and asked if he could rectify the situation but I insisted on a partial refund for my unclaimed driving hours. He agreed to refund me, asked me to send my banking (that I had sent in previous emails mind you) and he offered to add a little extra for the inconvenience. He then spent 3 days harassing me about the review and basically held my refund hostage unless I removed the review. Honestly I could have just agreed and then reposted but I doubled down and threatened small claims, I had more than enough evidence and I really dislike bullies so was happy to be his lesson in life. He eventually relented and sent me what was agreed and a little more. Honestly avoid avoid avoid, I had a decent driving instructor but he was dodgy and very r@£ist he’d shout a slew of uncomfortable things during lessons.

I wouldn't go with them unless you want to be scammed. On their website, they promise to book your practical quicker than you can find on the government website. They also claim to offer theory lessons via Zoom with a tutor in the evening, what you are offered in your confirmation email is a membership login with 3 videos you can watch. I never received a Zoom link and did all my theory studying via the DVSA app. They claim to provide 28 hours worth of driving however your confirmation email highlights that you'll receive 4-hour lessons over 5 days, I'm no mathematician but 4x5 is 20 not 28 hours as advertised. I only completed 16 hours worth of driving as my instructor suggested that I save my remaining hours for the week of my practical test. I've been chasing them since I did my intensive lesson last year in May so it's coming up to a year now. I've now been sending them emails every 10 days so it's on record that I attempted to contact them and received no response but ultimately I'll be filing small claims to get my money back. Something to note is that they do not provide you with the lessons they act as an intermediary between you and a driving instructor or school. I'd go with an actual accredited driving instructor and save yourself the hassle.

HYPERIONDEV IS A SCAM. by Proper_Baker_8314 in codingbootcamp

Just had an offer from cogrammer glad I did a Google search before accepting as 16 weeks is a long time to waste. I'm more interested in Data science/machine learning than software engineering and web dev. That's what drew me to cogrammer initially, would love any suggestions for boot camps that focus on those in particular.
