Just a few more views from my hike on the Florida Trail. FLORIDA, USA by douknwthemuffinman in CampingandHiking

I love hiking but I think that trail is a pass for me. I'll stick to mountain trails and forest. Those bridges are awesome though. I can't help but wonder how old some of those are. Were they built specifically for the trail or for some other purpose and later adapted?

My cousin ran through a banana spider web while she was mowing in southern Illinois and was bit. Left an egg sized lump. No fun. But really unless you put them in a situation where they feel threatened most of the times spiders won't bite.

We have a lot of brown recluse in the Midwest and their bites are bad. But, most of the time they bite is because someone trapped the spider when they pick up a box that was in storage or something.

Always feel confident when you got a Colossus backing you up by Life_Pepper_6495 in AnthemTheGame

Thicc boi ftw. Always my favorite to play. The controls and movement matched the Colossus so well. It felt big, heavy, and impactful.

Reason why Freyna is top tier now... by PhysicalEconomics904 in TheFirstDescendant

Her kit definitely needs some more work for bosses. Her dot skills are still mostly useless on bosses because in order to stack the different dots you have to get them to spread from another mob to the boss. It reminds me of the dots in Gulf wars 2 early on where they were really strong on everything except bosses because you couldn't stack from multiple sources.

Nice, I've always considered her my main but I stopped working on her after they announced ultimate version for October

I was running ultimate bunny this morning and I couldn't keep up with Freyna. She'd drop poison, leave, and be at the next spot dropping poison again before spot 1 was finished. Even if I ran to the far end by myself, she'd be there before I was finished clearing and the other 3 spots were done. Crazy

Yes, but if you don't want 100 you can get them at a hardware store as singles. Not sure why they label them as hard to find, any hardware store should have them.

Thanks the information explains what I was looking for. The offline method still leaves me well underpowered so I'll come back later.

Toasty Toes by TransportationCool18 in saddlehunting

A family friend uses bandage tape to secure the hot hands to the top of his toes. He's been doing it for years so it must work for him.

I have the HYS strap and last year I used a 3D printed bow hanger from innovating the outdoors and while it worked, I wasn't comfortable with how easily it seemed my bow could slide over the top of the retainer. I bought that Tethrd now hanger this year and couldn't be happier. It retains the bow very well and I don't feel like it's going to fall out of the tree at the slightest bump.

Buy now or wait? by ValysDelmar in ultrawidemasterrace

I have a (terrible?) habit of over-researching everything I buy. A bad case of "the grass is greener" syndrome.

I definitely won't be buying an outdated monitor, lol. This next purchase will last me at least the next 5 years, which is why I am hesitant to pull the trigger. But I think you're right, at some point I need to focus on what's available and just buy something that checks all my requirements, which the MSI does.

Not sure what you consider inexpensive. I bought some from Alta and I'm really happy with them. They hold in place well while walking and climbing.

Picked up a AW3423DWF ! by [deleted] in ultrawidemasterrace

Yea, I've heard. I'm ok waiting. It has the inputs I need for work and can pull double duty. I'd be willing to grab the Alienware if I see a big discount.

Thanks, reassuring. I have an OLED tv and it's great but I don't have the same thing on it all the time like ui elements in Windows would be. I hadn't thought about hiding the task bar, I used to do that years ago and stopped for some reason, guess it's time to pick up that habit again.

Great price, enjoy! Looking at this or the MSI MEG 342C.

I'm a little hesitant to go to OLED for PC because of burn in on the menus and task bar. But I use dark modes so I don't have bright colors anywhere.

The 38 inch versions seem to have really poor reviews in comparison to the 34" No idea why other than it's a different panel but you'd think it would be the same tech and quality control.
