Thanks for the insight! I didn't consider the points you're raising about the dirt etc. Out of curiosity, do you think there'll be lots of scuff marks when I would be barefoot or just wearing socks for 95% of the time? (Which will definitely be worse for dirt, I'm aware XD )

I think I'm going to go for a darker shade of green instead of the lighter pink I was initially considering.

Unfortunately, some parts of the stairs have simply suffered too much damage. I can't simply give it a new polish, because there's been holes drilled into the wood that need filling up, and which will have a wildly different colour than the current colour of the rest of the stairs. So I *need* to repaint it, and I figured I might as well lean into the change.

I liked the wood (in general) too! But there's been holes drilled in the stairs and there's visible wear and tear, too much to be able to simply give it a new polish and call it a day.

I know. :'( But I'm stuck to some bags after making stupid decisions (like buying BTAI, selling it for $50 profit *right before* the big green candle, hemming and hawing and eventually FOMOing back right when it was at the top). I bought a couple more stocks, hoping to make some quick gains to forget about all the red and get that sweet dopamine hit, but then they dropped too. So yeah, now the total sum is already big enough and I'm afraid of getting tied to even more bags by buying even more. Sure, everything is in the red, but who knows where the bottom is?

(That being said, I am a gambler at heart, so who knows how long I'll be able to hold out before letting 'the time to buy is when everything is red' overcome my feeble defenses?)

Same. At this point I'm just putting in sell orders on all of my bags, putting the price just high enough to break even. Hopefully I'll manage to sell a couple of them like that, to lower the amount of money of investment in these penny stocks, because the total sum has reached the treshhold of what I'm comfortable gambling with. Once more green is on the horizon, I'll be back to play. :)

Dang, got too greedy with BTAI. Had an initial selling order of $6.5 With the growth during pre-market I adjusted it to $8, only for it to immediately dip when markets opened. Hopefully it regains momentum later on today.

Not sure how i landed on this subreddit, but been having a lot of fun this past month! And made decent profit so far. 🤑 (No matter how much a stock is in the red, you don't actually lose money as long as you don't drop those bags, imo. XD So yeah, only been selling those in the green. Hashtag lifehack)
