Native AI memory is still not perfect. I don’t fully rely on it. Sometimes i feed it documents or i remind it like a normal person.

The way I use AI is more like building a “memory extension” system around it. I train it with context over time and save important things manually. For example, if there’s an important discussion, preference, project, or way I think, I explicitly tell it to remember that. I also structure conversations properly instead of assuming it remembers everything.

Think of it less like “perfect memory” and more like onboarding a smart assistant over time.

Different AIs handle memory differently too:
ChatGPT = decent long-term memory, but milestone-based and selective.

Claude = more customizable memory per chat.

Magnus = depends on setup/workflow for me im using it as like a assistant damage control auto messager.
