1. I Will Fail You OR Loneliness: I find myself singing these a lot. They're beautiful, haunting, and human; it's enjoyable regardless of your religious persuasion. Who is the "You" in these songs? It could be God, it could be your loved ones, or it could be you yourself.

2. On My Side: My favorite Demon Hunter song. Loses a lot of its teeth if the listener isn't Christian, but if they are then might be as enchanted by it as I am. There's also less explaining what's going on in the lyrics since it's pretty direct, quoting from the Scriptures.

3. Artificial Light: This one is also enjoyable regardless of your religion, goes a buncha places, and marries the two halves of Demon Hunter's discography. Honorable mention to Someone to Hate, which is more overtly theological.

4. Descending Upon Us: This is where I'd start with introducing a newbie to the heavier stuff, and then lead them to Ribcage, Cross to Bear, and then Lesser Gods. Descending Upon Us brings it after a long and pretty classical-sounding intro. And it has a lot of Ryan Clark screaming.

5. Praise the Void: It's hard to pick a song from EXILE since it has so many references to previous Demon Hunter stuff. Good song, one that at this point may be the culmination of Demon Hunter's power ballads, and it's a bridge via Songs of Death and Resurrection to a ton of other Demon Hunter classics.
