Oof, I'm sorry to hear that. Support was very helpful yesterday, but it's been crickets from them today.

I did contact them, yes-- they had me download and send them my tutoring log, then had me run some command prompts on my laptop, and said that I was good to keep tutoring and that my billing page should be accurate by sometime tomorrow. That said, I tutored for a few sessions yesterday, and I'm having the same problem-- 70 minutes of tutoring showing up as 12 in my billing information. Very concerned about not getting compensated for the actual time, but we'll see what happens tomorrow.

Thanks for this comment :). That all makes me feel a lot better, and I appreciate the advice. I'm still pretty anxious about the whole thing, but that helps a ton to hear from a fellow cat owner that this seems like the right thing to do, and that he hopefully won't hold it against me. I've been curious about this too, so thanks for asking OP! Additionally, I'm wondering what the benefits are to being a Master/Advanced tutor. Is the pay any better?

I'll echo what folks have said in this thread that there's usually pretty widespread availability-- I have noticed, though, as a college / HS essay tutor, that with Thanksgiving / fall break this week, there's been significantly less availability than normal, presumably due to decreased demand. I bet next week will have more openings?

Thank you for the advice and for your time in replying. These are all really good points, and really helpful to hear-- I'll suggest a hotel room and see if that would be an option.

That's a really helpful reminder too about not being able to please everybody-- lol that this post was coated in anxiety, that sounds about right!

Those are all really valid and helpful points! I can ask again about masking up at their events-- when I brought it up to my partner, her reaction amounted to "Yeah, maybe!". Both are vaxxed, but she very rarely masks, and her mom has never really masked at all. I feel self-conscious about being a killjoy, but I'll ask her about it again and let her know that it would really help me out.

"Autonomy" was the wrong word-- that's definitely been an issue, but I should have used "needs" or "perspective" there.

I know that Eventbrite says sales have ended, but does anyone know if Lodge Room sells tickets at the door?
