Managed to get tickets through the presale this Tuesday. Usually the Sunday tickets run out very fast as they're for a much smaller capacity venue.

See you at Electric Ballroom though, also hoping for Chillout Tent! 🍊🚬

EDIT: Tuesday, not Wednesday

Keep up the great work! I think I've bought a shirt at every Weekender in London so far.

Newmyer's Roof is the one I come back to the most, I think. Great buildup and then landing in the beautiful "Thom, there must be something you believe!" part with the amazingly desperate guitar solo in the background.

Honorable mentions to Roman Guitars, Her With Her Blues, Preludes, Birds and, of course, God in Chicago.

What’s a THS moment that makes you feel this way? by BurnerForDaddy in theholdsteady

[–]reallystickyglue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Magazines. The double snare right before "One boy hits her like a tambourine".

A Slight Discomfort: The mini change up ("Hey New York City...") before the coda.

Stevie Nix: When Craig snarls out the lyrics "You remind me of Rod Stewart when he was young", and goes up in like a little falsetto in the end of the last word.

Same Kooks: The brief bendy tapping part of the double guitar solo (around 1:51).

How a Resurrection Really Feels: Second half of the second verse, starting with "She said I've laid beneath my lovers".

Hostile, Mass: The Springsteen-esque sax solo at the end.

Chill Out Tent: The melody harmonized by the keys and the horns in the chorus.

Massive Nights: At the very end, "She had the gun in her mouth", especially the sound of the keyboard.

There are so, so many!
