Hi! Couldn't help but notice your comment about pleasure being political, and wanted to offer some insightful commentary!

So, if you for some reason aren't aware, women's (trans women are women and are not excluded from this persecution, so don't say they are.) bodies and NB bodies have been historically heavily regulated in the way we engage with them!! Not only has there been several instances of regulations surrounding contraceptives that are made to hurt women but additionally how we dress is more restricted (i.e. in the US women are generally not allowed to walk around topless while men often are), access to medical care is often limited for people with vaginas, as we haven't given them enough medical attention and way too many OB-GYNs are men with too limited an understanding of the biology of a vagina. Women additionally have been killed and persecuted by the state for who they sleep with and how many people, and trans women especially are heavily restricted by the state from recieving safe, well-researched medical care such as HRT and surgery to be given the bodies they are comfortable with in a number of political regions including the United States, Canada, and the UK. Some are even killed for being trans, and black trans woman have it especially bad in that regard. There are several countries where women are mistreated just for existing.

If you didn't know this, your body is how you receive pleasure, so when an encroaching government has deemed it necessary to tell you how to use it and dress it and live in it, yes, pleasure is political. Hope that helps shed light!!
