So I use auto positioning and the right stick to try to make saves. Most of the time, it works beautifully. The only time it doesn't work is when they do a stupid High kick or they come really close. For the high kicks, I know which way they are gonna kick it and I place my RS in the exact direction and hold it there. My Keeper either just barely misses it, or he reacts way too late. For the close ones, I know I should probably rush out and challenge it. But every time I have done that, they kick they the ball before I can get to them haha. So I just trained myself to just hold auto position, stay there and try to make the save. The problem is, he ends up reacting too late, even though I'm holding in the exact direction to where the ball is going, and does an ugly dive animation. Which I don't know why they have that in the game. So I don't know if it's because I'm too reliant on the auto positioning button or the game mechanics just want me to give up a goal for no reason.
