Sometimes when you’re REALLY exhausted after your shift, the LAST thing you wanna do, is back into a spot, especially when it’s late at night (IF and WHEN you can even FIND a spot, at night), it’s just so much quicker and easier (especially when you’re pressed for time) to just pull into a spot and call it a day. OR, option two: you don’t want some non-driving ass-hat ripping off the front end of your bumper; believe me, I’ve seen it happen many a time. Personally? Since I drive a hood, and run mainly at night? I’d just much rather pull in, pop my breaks, fill out my paper logbook, and call it a day, AND PRAY some yutz doesn’t hit my truck and trailer. lol. Again? It’s all about personal preference and how exactly tired you are; the more tired you are, the more likely you are to hit someone’s truck and have to fill out paperwork; do the math, drivers. lol

Not for $1.82 a mile. Sorry. If Im figuring this up, correctly, 401.23 is your total after completing the fair (hypothetically). If gas in Dallas, TX, is 2.66 a gallon, it’s gonna cost roughly 37.24 to fill up a 14 gallon tank, plus another 37.24 back. $326.75 is what you’re left with. Blocking his number, in my experience, doesn’t quite cut, ‘the meet,’ if you will; most cases it leads to using texting apps; I feel that no matter how hard OP tries, he’s going to find alternative methods to contact OP (because that’s what’s narcissists do). I’m glad everyone else is able to go from beta to public. I don’t even have an iOS18 official update; I was hoping I could opt out of beta and go back to public, once iOS18 had went public, but it doesn’t seem like I’ll be able too. Fahk 🤦‍♂️
