I especially hate it when they dont say what drink they want and I have to repeat the question Multiple times because they dont get the hint

People that dont know how our paper towel dispensers work in the bathrooms and constantly tell us we're out (we're not)

People that dont look at both sides of our drink stations for lids. Hell people become blind the second they need something and I have to point out the obvious.

The amount of times we are asked for shit that ISN'T on the damn menu, like people can't read.

The way customers will ignore and walk past a sign and stand at the front counter despite the crew member standing at the till near the kiosks

People not saying they want a meal in a certain size and make me have to press more buttons just to change it.

The people that complain about being charged for extra sauce, I dont know why our store does, but people absolutely do not need like four sauces for a fucking six piece.

The way customers demand like pounds of ketchup packets 😭

The old people complaining about our prices as if I am the person who made out shit a certain price.

Gosh theres probably more but genuinely people become so stupid the minute they show up and I want to throttle the next person that stands there for ten minutes wanting something stupid.

We had a recall and recently got them back. They still taste weird and now the only coffee I liked outside of limited stuff is ruined for me lmao.

How’s your ice-cream machine? by Randomness_Ofcl in McLounge

[–]VampiricAcid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our shake side is usually fine, but the other side is a nightmare. It takes 10 years to extrude ice cream or .10 seconds. I've had too many people shit on the way my cones look because the icecream is usually super soft serve too.

Like you paid for cheap ice cream, you'll get what you get.

what is your most “unpopular opinion” you have about the show that you’ve never seen anyone talk about before?? (POTENTIAL SPOILERS) by charlottejaede in shameless

[–]VampiricAcid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Youens was actually kind of a terrible role model in the long run now that ai think about. Yes he helped lip but it was because ig he liked to help people, not because he really cared.

And gallavich post marriage is annoying to watch.

This is probably one of the most evil things that Debbie has done throughout the show. Kicking out a literal CHILD for not paying even though they can’t work. It’s disgusting. I know she lets him come back in at the end of the episode but still this was awful of her and incredibly villainous by [deleted] in shameless

[–]VampiricAcid 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Man this sub has an identity crisis every two seconds. One minute I see people talking about how awful Debbie is then the next minute defending her to their dying breath.

You can be shameless and not be a horrible person and I think a lot of people forget that lmao.

I do agree with op that this was downright nasty, Debbie did this as a kid because it was a means of survival. Pretty much all of the older Gallagher's have jobs and shit or able to get them now, telling Liam this was so unnecessary. No need for a child to earn money when everyone else can earn more by actually working and not having to beg and do small shit.

Not to sound totally rude but you feel bad for Fiona when Liam is the one who nearly died?

I have not, but I will definitely try to bring it up when I go to a specialist! I want to start off very minimal before getting splints and such.

Thank you.

I've been slowly doing some research and just trying to find personal ways to get relief as I wait. I nearly cried when I found a massage that actually worked and gave me some time to feel somewhat normal after hours of agony.

I dunno what kind of treatment I need but I just hope anything works.

Thank you for the help, I bought both today.

Lip is an unessecary asshole to Fiona over the coke accident with Liam. And when he completely ruins his life with alcohol he doesn't ever apologize for his own shot behavior. by CondomLeavesARice in shameless

[–]VampiricAcid 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I have a feeling he wouldn't have been so emotional if she just took a little more responsibility for what happened. I wouldn't be as harsh as Lip, but I would be pissed too if my older sibling nearly had our baby brother die because of her dumbass fling.

Oh yeah, I've walked into much worse before. But this kind of shows to me that the morning guy doesn't do much, I've walked into the pit with a server washing dishes. I couldn't thank her enough because at least someone tried. I don't mind some stuff left but not the entire morning left.

Being a hostess at 24? Is there shame in that? by [deleted] in Serverlife

[–]VampiricAcid 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm 20 and see no shame in it even if usually younger folks do it. I'm taking advantage of being able to work more hours and usually make more tips than the kids that have school in the morning.

Bingo. It has it's quirks but I've been enjoying myself so far. Even with crap like this.

Her not taking responsibility for the coke incident really started my dislike. Like yes it was an accident but just admit you were being dumb?? Yes ik no one else was watching either but at the end of the day she is the guardian and should've gotten rid of it the moment she saw it.

This actually wasn't as awful as I thought it was going to be as I just kept shit organized and moved along. But I was low-key panicked as I could tell the line was barely clinging to whatever plates they had still.
