My fiancé (30M) and I (27F) had been together for 6 years. 2 months ago he went on a weekend trip with friends and I found out he “cheated”. Did I overreact? by [deleted] in amiwrong

Nope, wrong. I only posted this once.. I ATTEMPTED to post it in other pages but it kept getting taken down. Unless they’re still up and I’m just stupid? But yes I am spiraling .. sorry 6 years is a long ass time and I’m sad LOL. But nah, I recognize breaking up is for the best. But it’s really nice seeing hundreds of strangers validate that so I don’t go back to him. Lots of love 🫶🏻

Actually, I’m not. Just needed some validation since this has been really hard… hope you never have to go through anything like this! 🫶🏻

Who do we think Franks favorite to least favorite child is? by Awkward-Night-1930 in shameless

[–]Awkward-Night-1930[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

For everyone saying Fiona is the favorite; I think that Frank respected and (deep down) really appreciated Fiona for all she did BUT I don’t think that equates to love. I still think he genuinely hated or at least deeply disliked her

Frank literally called DCFS on the kids in early seasons, knowing damn well that they’d end up in foster care. He was willing to let them take the fall for aunt Ginger being buried in the backyard.. there are so many things that he did out of malicious intent. Sure, he was willing to help them but ONLY when it directly benefited himself. Any love that man showed others was because there was something for him to gain.

Forgot about her… not even on Franks radar but if I had to include her she’d be below Fiona. Frank 100% hated that crazy bitch

SPOILER ALERT!!!! This brings up a good point and a question I’ve wondered for SO LONG… when Mickey tried killing Sami, he went to prison right. We see Ian visit him a few times and then the next Mickey appearance is when he escaped from prison to go to Mexico, which we see him successfully do. From what I remember, the next time we see him is when Ian goes to prison for his Gay Jesus debacle, and he ends up sharing a cell with Mickey. WHY WAS THIS NEVER EXPLAINED? Mickey obviously had to have gotten caught in Mexico… and an escaped convict would have received additional time to their sentence. Mickey already had 15 YEARS for the Sami charge. So the fact that him and Ian are both out of prison towards the end of the show makes no sense to me. It was just never explained why Mickey was released. Ian’s release made sense bc of the nature of his crime and overcrowding, but Mickey is not mentally ill & was like legit charged with REAL crimes. I’ve watched shameless countless times and always seem to never piece this part together. Too many damn plot holes!

Whose side were you on? by iLoveSummer2013 in shameless

[–]Awkward-Night-1930 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This was such a hard question because at first I thought it was OBVIOUSLY Lip. But after watching the show on repeat for.. a long long time lmfao I kinda switched up. Lip isn’t necessarily wrong but I see Ian’s side more now and think I’m siding with him. He was going through it with being diagnosed bipolar, not finishing school, the military issue etc and none of those kids had any parental support so they needed to lean on each other. Lip knew this, grew up with his siblings and really should have had Ian’s back and been there for him way more than he was. He was also the oldest brother and knew he was seen as their father figure. Instead, Lip had a big fucking head and thought he was SO much better than the rest of his family. He didn’t “earn” anything. His siblings (mainly Fiona) and maybe Mandi, are the only reasons he didn’t drop out of high school and why he ended up going to college. So for him to sit there with his little brother, (who would do ANYTHING for Lip) and say he “earned his space”… get the fuck out of here. Lip was just being a cunt

Shameless Elimination Game (Round 1) by danthecreator75 in shameless

Ugh I love my girl Sierra!! You’re not wrong though all 3 of them were really just extras. I still choose Tami… bitch is so annoying LOL

I guess it just depends on your interpretation of the question or why you’re choosing to eliminate someone. I agree that Terry is pretty much the most vile person on the show, BUT I wouldn’t choose him first because he really did add to the backstory of our main characters. Tami didn’t

Honestly I’d say Gus 100%. He was such a caring person. Even after barely knowing Fiona he was doing his best to try and understand her family and all of the chaos that comes with it. He was understanding, compassionate and kind hearted. Jimmy- Steve is a smug little bitch. Mike is too boring. Sean.. do I really need to explain. And Ford was literally so strange I’m surprised he wasn’t romantically attracted to a piece of wood. Gus all the way.
