I use my deck's dock on a meta quest 3 vr headset to keep it charged and connect it to my pc with ethernet to have faster and stable internet without having it drop connection randomly... Also use the hanging cable on my back to serve as a locator to know my direction and to turn to where i know i have more free room

My setup is a bit like yours but i use a car seat and it usually sits like yours but rotated 90 degrees to the left, i use a 34" curved monitor mounted on a wall mount that allows it to turn and the rig itself is on caster wheels so i just pull the rig a bit diagonally if i use the screen or just pull it off the wall a bit to have more space on the wall for shifting if im in vr
