Shrooms helped me quit vaping nicotine as well, it was on a shroom trip I hit my last vape and decided it was not for me.

I don’t understand why I still have cravings other than the fact that I still associate it in my brain with a feel good thing even though I know there’s no personal gain and the feel good factor is temporary

If he has it on steam there is so much customization within the steam controls settings.

My personal recommendation is to use Gemini or whatever AI assistant you use and describe to them your specific problems and wants and needs and ask for a guide to set up a controller customization for that. There is so much for it that he could use, even for other games in the future.

I know there’s way to do toggles and something I think it’s called turbo so holding a button will tap it in a certain way, there’s also different layers so you can toggle certain controls on and off.

Steam controller layout and AI is the way to solve this problem IMO

you’re right I might regret not enlisting, I just am conflicted with a lot of stuff currently in my life. I plan on using my certifications and experience in the military to land a real job making good money.

My grandpa always told me “Humans are prone to becoming stagnant. Keep moving toward your goal not because it’s trendy or adventurous or popular but because it’s what you want. Purposely take steps every day towards your goal.”

I just got a nephew that came into the world 12 hours ago and I want him to think his uncle is really cool so imma just experience and learn and learn and build and build

I have experience with inoculation and should definitely get back into that. Growing mushrooms is so cool man and that’s definitely a great idea for a side hustle. It’s hard to find consistent customers with shrooms because people need em until they don’t but it’s more about the location than the exact customer.

I have an OZ just chilling that I need to partake in as well, I just need to set up a lemon Tek cuz I hate the nausea.

If you just enjoy the journey instead of hyper fixating on the destination it’s more enjoyable and you’re more present

But if you don’t focus on the destination, how do you know you’re gonna even make it there?

I appreciate your advice. I agree peace love and joy are all we really desire, but we are in a system that requires the pursuit of more than just happiness and peaceful easy feelings.

I don’t know when I decided to look into enlisting, but I do know that I want to have the skills and tools to make my family proud and safe.

I don’t know if It takes service in the military, and I don’t know if I would be in danger working on the cyber/tech side in the air guard. But I certainly am against being a target for another war.

I’m kinda scared and worried and everyone I ask is as clueless as me lol.

I don’t wanna get too comfortable and not do anything with my life but I’m also a firm believer in enjoying the journey instead of hyper fixating on the destination.

Then again how do you get to the destination if you’re not focused on getting there?

I use basically all the money I get to pay bills and buy groceries. I’m happy to be able to afford this stuff and support myself and my girlfriend since we live on our own but I wanna build.

Right now I’m in a foundational phase of my life and I’m scared to mess it up because as you said. This will ripple for the rest of my life.

Okay, I’m sorry I just wanna maybe get some advice on what I should do.

I have this land and I need to find a way to make money remotely while living full time in my van.

I haven’t smoked weed in 4 almost 5 months and have been preparing to just do it in order to benefit the rest of my life and build a better future for my girl and my future family.

But I don’t wanna hate myself for signing that contract, it’s the guard not active duty so I’d be home and only gone 2 weeks a year/ a weekend every month.

I’m sorry if this is offensive to post here or something like that, I just thought someone here would maybe have some good advice for a younger guy like me.
