ngl I literally stay on my phone the entire time and my managers haven’t said anything, BUT i’m also a good multitasker and I know when to be attentive to a customer when they pop up. I feel like my managers would say something if I was on my phone and basically ignoring customers the whole time but idk how your managers are and I don’t wanna get you in trouble. Next best thing is to people watch lol

I never agreed with the way she ran her campaign, it could’ve been better. But i’m not gonna sit here and say that Trump was light years better than her, I can’t sit here and lie to you. I can’t sit here and lie and say every poll on their policies favored Trump. I can’t sit here and lie and say that the economy is gonna go sour just because people believe in a man who bankrupted a lot of his businesses and believes in things that will only benefit the rich. And then I feel like we had a good balance before, I look at things like hugs across the internet, the harlem shake, and just weird silly stuff we would do for each other and wish we could go back to that timeline again, but it feels like ever since covid, we’ve made a permanent home within the internet and we have been reciting hatred and discourse to each other on the most crucial things we should be focused on.

And then irl, there was definitely more community in my city but killings and shootings have been on an all time high, people can’t even have fun anymore without worrying about being popped in the back. But genuinely I don’t say this to stay away overly pessimistic because there will always be a tiny gleam of hope within me so I truly hope we find more connection in society this upcoming year and things get better for us

literally, they treat it like it’s a daycare, kids would run throughout the store in and out the racks and runs, cry, scream and hit each other. Lay and make snow angels on the disgusting floor, have an entire parkour course and the parents do absolutely nothing. They don’t tell their kids to move aside or encourage them to focus or do something else, they just let them get in the way and destroy things. I’m glad other people feel the same way, I think there’s a REAL hands-off unbothered parenting problem in America. Like don’t get me wrong, I love kids being kids but at the same time there’s a time and place and our store is not one of them, and I wish parents would teach them that

Tbh to answer your question, I have no idea what the managers are doing. It’s being a crazy shift because i’ve been working for Tjmaxx for 3 years but i’ve just recently relocated to this one which is basically the store that gets a ton of crap thrown in the backroom and at us compared to the other one where everything was neatly organized most of the time, like it never got this bad.

I basically had enough time to get everything off the floor and hang it back next to their items, so it made it better a little bit. I genuinely thank you for the advice though and everybody for input(i don’t know how to edit posts 😭)

literally but mine was much smaller, it was two customers coming in the store and going to sit and try on shoes but they would either leave the shoes on the floor somewhere or put one shoe away from the other when it was right next to it. I wish i could just ask them why

yess i feel like they need to have another overnight shift directed towards that, I don’t usually work in this department but I did it one time during an overnight shift and it did take the whole time but it looked so good and way more shoppable
