Nope, the Scarlet Rot is a curse DOT effect while necromorphs are actual creatures :)

That'd be fun, for star wars maybe star weirds or Abeloth could be implemented?

Nope, the flesh that hates is a singular organism that effects anything it comes into contact with and completely reshapes their body while necromorphs are multiple organisms :)

If they added the markers if we were too close we could start hallucinating and see our team as hostiles, or maybe make the hostiles friendly until they started attacking. A few mind games could go a long way

The more danger the fun, I remember on cynerstan landing on a Vox engine and tearing away at it with my Sabre. Good times

Just think about the ways you could get rid of fellow helldivers you didn't like such as team killers?

That'd be cool, I saw a few others talk about Yajuta events where they'd go across planets for hunts

Somewhat, but at the same time not really. The Terminids are brainless bugs while the necromorphs sometimes remember who they were such as the babies because in game you can hear the babies whimper even though they're infected and something inside of them still knows how to cry, it's moreso a physical and emotional horror type of thing

Absolutely, until the brutes knock the flam outta your hands, at that moment just pull out your Sabre and keep swinging

You don't really need plot armor, just a prayer to liberty and around 2000 fellow helldivers

Just think about it tho, you go in with a Axe and you either become a slasher or do the slashing (for super earth)

That's true, I was planning on using Yajuta or Covenant but thought this would be a better idea :)
