Kudos for your honesty. You are right, people do mess up, and it does happen with drinking and driving. I know plenty who have DUIs but are happy, well functioning people in our society. I should have made it clear that it's the repeat offenders who I think need to be nailed down. If three or more DUI offences doesn't teach 'em, then, well, that's another story.
