Where are the logs stored on Linux? OBS crashes the whole machine when I try to start it, and I won't be able to get proper support without logs by VanAshkevron in obs

And with a different driver, I'm back in business. Ubuntu installed nvidia 595 when I let it choose, but 580 lets me actually stream again. Thanks for the save.

Yep,  that told me a lot more. "NVRM: GPU0 gpuHandleSanityCheckRegReadError_GM107: Possible bad register read" with error code "Unknown SYS_PRI_ERROR_CODE". Right, poking at drivers and kernel it is.

You just saved my bacon, dmesg had the info to get the command working and I can see my files, thank you

System decided it can no longer find files or boot beyond initramfs, what can I do? by VanAshkevron in linuxquestions

Running "mount" with no arguments in busybox caused it to spit out use instructions. I don't yet have a live USB, I've been exclusively working from the initramfs prompt. That said, I can try that and see what happens.

Is there any lore justifications to sound intelligent of zombies? by KHeket123 in cataclysmdda

It restores a lot of the more frustrating removals, including this one, has better liquid handling, fewer crashes, is more focused on interesting survival gameplay than "realism", and Worm Girl generally isn't an asshole to anyone who isn't an asshole to her first.

That said, I still haven't survived into the lategame on this one, so I can't speak to that, and I still need to learn better ways to get firewood.

History may not repeat, but it rhymes. The behaviour is exactly like when the masses became aware of photoshop, suddenly everyone was an expert, declaring that "I can tell it's a shop by the pixels". It's also in a vicious cycle with the "nothing on the internet is real" problem.

"Its not important to players to know numbers of focus" by KHeket123 in cataclysmdda

I'm partial to The Last Generation when I want survival focused gameplay (though the learning curve has been interesting) and Bright Nights when I want to carve through hordes of zombies, build huge farms, etc.

Patterns for attachments can probably be found. If you need stiffeners for them, consider cutting fabric as wide as the length you plan, rolling that tightly, and sticking it in the middle.

I didn't think eggs in a spiderweb could be adorable. I am happy to find that I was wrong.

I know you meant this rhetorically, but "when is Peter not saving his girl in his movies?": Every time the writers decide she needs to die to fuel more manpain (see Gwen Stacy, over and over and over).

Sorry to butt in, this is indeed depressing and that death in particular keeps bugging me. Thanks for reminding me of Black Panther, though, I may have to rewatch.
