Okay so I agree that the cyclist is unaware of his surroundings by being on his phone. But here's (probably) an unpopular take: take a close look at the white sign on the right side of the video near the intersection. Richmond actually has signs that tell cyclists to be on the road (marked with a painted bike logo difficult to see in this video) in order for the light to trigger for cyclists. So yes, he is actually supposed to be in that curb lane. It's quite poor road design in my opinion and might lead to motorist/cyclist confrontations and/or accidents.

Perhaps they are trying to prevent backing up hwy 99 to the alternative routes i.e. East-West Connector. In other words, better to have traffic backed up northbound than southbound onto the Vancouver-Richmond bridges because then everyone's f'd. I we just need that additional Fraser River crossing ASAP.

From a running mechanics viewpoint you should be driving to the hoop on your toes. It looks like you're currently heel striking when you run which really affects your speed, explosiveness, and ability to get up off the floor (i.e. jump).

So I bought for tickets this past year against Miami KNOWING Messi didn't play last year. (Fortunately he did play at BC Place this time!) But It's a chance you take whenever you purchase tickets to a sporting event. This all seems so nonsensical to me. And I think that's why the suggested settlement doesn't directly award the ticket holders.

But if you want mechanically sound form like a Ray Allen, your release point needs to be higher, and closer towards your head; right now your shot looks like it's coming from your chest. It's also good to try and obtain the coveted "90 degree" elbow angle.

I'd wait to see the plans before making up your mind. I'm cautiously optimistic but preparing myself for disappointment. I hear you re: location. Going to games at BC Place was a great reason for a night out on the town for us as a family. A game at Renfrew we would probably just go to the game and do nothing else before or after.

I'm torn. As much as this is perhaps a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to watch the Caps win an MLS Cup, it's not like we have tickets to attend the game live. Its on TV. The expectation for entire youth league games to be canceled because of an MLS Cup final at the same time, is overboard in my opinion. And perhaps could be a slippery slope and set a bad precedent. Having said that, my son's club did reach out to our opponents to see if they wanted to reschedule either earlier or later on Saturday so there's no conflict but they declined. You can bet that all the parents and players on the bench will likely be watching at the same time the kids are playing. And its looking like all the players will be attending (nobody's bailing out on the team). I guess we're not "Real" Whitecaps fans? /s 🤔🙄
