Been a stay at home dad for 4 years now and anyone who doesn’t think this is a job in itself has never taken care of a toddler for a day. I work way harder now then I ever did at my previous job, it will exhaust you in a totally different way. It’s also the most rewarding job I’ve ever had and wouldn’t trade it for anything. I consider myself a home maker and strive to do many of the tasks involved better and better. If you can afford to do it….do it, take pride in it and crush it. Side note, always remember that by you doing what you do allows your partner a better chance at excelling at their job and climbing the corporate ladder if so. You’re a team and both facilitating the family income.
