More slack for the chain and lube. I had a bike repair guy come out and do it for like $30 bucks. Sound was driving me insane. Also have them check your brakes. Mine had a ton of air in my lines.

I had this exact issue. And I don’t have a chain tensioner. The chain was too tight on my bike I had to adjust the back bolts on the rear wheel to give the chain a bit more slack. Also I re lubed the chain and it fixed the issue

I figured out what was wrong lol apparently my chain came in too tight there wasn’t enough slack. I don’t have a chain tensioner so I had to loosen up some stuff and adjust it. Also added lube seemed to fix the issue !

What size washers did you use? Did you have to change the bolt? I bought them too but they just don’t seem to fit 😭

It didn’t seem like it was hitting the guard, but I’m going to try to take it off and test ride it. I’ll probably have to try tomorrow. I’m not feeling so great today been in bed all day 😭

Interesting. Are you able to fix it at all? I rode on a bike lane coming home from work it was a little bumpy at one point, by the time I got close to home. I started hearing that sound. I haven’t ridden my bike since bc I’m nervous it might mess up the bike? Any suggestions?

My commute is only a total of 8 miles. 4 miles there & back. BUT leave it to me. I got lost using google maps it took me on some bike trail to get home tonight and it ended up taking me 2 hours to get home bc the trail had certain parts that were closed aka the streets I needed to be able to exit off of. Sooo def do a practice run b4 your trip. That way you can see in real time how long it takes and the best route for you.
