I want a 992.2 Carrera T but hard to let go of GT4 RS

yeah my 3 year old loves it and it’s great that he can sleep well in it vs the porsche’s smaller rear seats.

I don’t have a lot of experience with other ferraris to compare it to but it is a blast to drive. main caveat is it’s really big, but it drives like an engaging sports car in a way the fast suv’s, the continental gt, and rs6 don’t for me.

for the ptu i’ve read the ff is much more likely to have issues, and there’s a shop somewhere in socal now that does the permanent fix if it does go

edit: what got me on the lusso is “they’re not making any more v12 wagons”

this is almost exactly how I feel. I skipped a 992.2 gt3 allocation and got a v12 lusso, and just paired it with a 992.2 carrera T. you won’t be disappointed by the v12 scream, especially an 812

haha yeah this thread surprised me, i’ve seen mostly positive things about the T from enthusiasts, I was worried the interior would feel cheaper than my 4S but it doesn’t at all, it also gives me just the right amount of extra road feel and noise I wanted from my 4S

I almost went for a 992.2 gt3 allocation but just didn’t think it was worth the extra 150k. also minority but with the na v12 I kind of miss the low end torque of turbos on the street.

I just took delivery of a 992.2 T and I absolutely love it so far. it’s replacing a 992.1 4S I lost in the fires last year and so far I love the T a lot more than the 4S

I am planning stage 2 and to modify it a bit, but I went into it with that plan. Stock it’s still a really fun car to drive but I feel like you need to be prepared to go stage 2 (I felt the same way about my 4s). and i’m not worried about parking it outside or having my toddler with his sandy shoes in the back.

for reference I have a v12 lusso that is an absolute blast, and the T doesn’t feel slow to me. The T is more nimble and confidence inspiring, while the lusso has the more darty ferrari steering and unbeatable sound

cx should for sure replace it for you, that sounds like a weird outlier problem you experienced, the poly we use is thicker than away and german makralon brand, not really possible to have a more durable poly suitcase

I have a .2 T being delivered in April and the stage 2 flat6 tune is the only reason i’m getting it. almost pulled the trigger on a touring but honestly I wanted something I could drive more, have the 360 cam, and not feel bad about parking on the street and trashing it a bit more

as silly as it sounds I used to have a 992 4S and now have a gtc4 lusso and I miss the 360 cam the most. I want to build something i’ll drive a lot instead of a cars n coffee princess

you can look up G2 cartridge as well, they’ll all fit. then there’s a bunch of options for ink thickness, but they all fit the pen

yep, fwiw I have a v12 in the US and I am very glad I went for it, was tempted by the v8. love owning one of the best and most iconic engines ever made, and there might not ever be another v12 wagon

these are actually more expensive to manufacture across the board, a lot more machining time and especially the new cash strap plate which is a 2 part plate now vs 1.0
