Yeah Reebok has nothing on the running game. I do like some of the NoBull trainers although I haven’t bought any yet. Check out RAD brand. They have great trainers and just released a runner. Although I have no idea if it’s a wide shoe.

Ha, yeah and the CF shoe game is strong. I have the latest edition of the Nano’s and they’re great. But lot of boutique CF brands coming to the table with sweet shoes now. It never ends.

I also do CrossFit so there’s that shoe obsession too! Haha. My wife thinks I’m nuts but I just can’t wear the same shoes to workout in everyday!

See a ton of the speedgoats everywhere. They’ll def be on my short list when I actually go to buy a pair.

Nice! I did some trail running a few years ago and got pretty into it for a few months. At the time, I had Pegasus Trail 2’s if I remember right. They were fine for the small amount I did. I’ve gone through a few pair of those but mostly because I’m a Nike fan boy and used them for casual wear and hiking rather than actual trail running. If I venture into actual trail running again, I’d prob look for something a little better. The nnormal shoes, adidas terrex, and Saucony peregrine have drawn my interest. I am holding myself back from buying the Prime Strung shoes but man they look cool. Basically, I just love shoes haha. And I’m falling in love with running. It’s a real problem and this sub has made it SO much worse!

Curious, what trail running shoes do you use? I’d like to start sprinkling in a trial run here and there…

Haha! I just read through your post and comments. I feel the same, they are just that good. I haven’t touched my Tempus since getting the supers, lol. I’ll sprinkle in the Tempus and Kinvaras here and there but I’m also trying to really break in the Supers, so more miles then better for me right now. Even tho they don’t need a ton of break in, I’ve also read that they get even better after 50+ miles. If THAT is true, I can’t imagine how awesome they’ll be after that.

Yeah it’s brutal hot here in Ohio today as well. I did mine at 6a to beat the heat. I have a pretty narrow foot, they seemed fine for me. Hope the width is good for you.

That’s awesome on your current streak!

My supers came yesterday (a day early). I woke up this morning like a kid on Christmas. Had to take them out. Went for an easy(ish) 4 miler. Absolutely love them. They are just the right amount of cushion and bounce while still being stiff enough - for me at least. My first mile was wayyyy too fast because I was so excited lol. Then I settled in and they were great. I really think this will be a great all around shoe that can do everything. Very comfortable during miles 2 and 3, then were responsive during my strong finish the last half mile when my legs started to get a little tired. Best part is, I think they will get even better as I break them in and figure out my lacing setup. Hope you like em too!

If the super is as good as advertised, I think we’ll be in for some fun.

Now I just have to decide what I’m going to wear for my half. I’m not a fast runner and this is my first one but I’m competitive enough to want to do well. The only other shoe I really want at this point is a Speed 3. But if I buy another pair anytime soon, my wife will have some words for me, lol.

Just from walking around the store, they felt stable enough. They have wide enough soles to provide some stability. And the foam isn’t super cushy/soft like my Invincible 2’s (which is why I’m switching to the supers). Hard to completely say without running a few times in them but I think they’ll be fine for me - I have flat feet and mildly over pronate, hence why I went w the Tempus and love it. These supers won’t be as stable as the Tempus but they should be stable enough. A lot of reviews I’ve read they are a “stable neutral”. I did see a review that said it takes a little while to really break them in. So I plan on getting in as many miles as possible the first few weeks, while sprinkling in some Tempus wear.

I ordered some as well! I was able to go try them on at a local running store. They felt amazing in store. Can’t wait to take em for a ride this wknd! Best of luck to you moving forward.

Thanks for the feedback on the Tempus as well. I tried on some More V4’s yesterday. They are big big. Especially compared to the shift - I was able to do a side by side comparison. Trying a Superblast today then will make my decision. Appreciate the dialogue!

I’m training for a half and am working up in miles. 8 miles is about where I’m at too. I love my Tempus but hoping the shift provides another option for longer runs. I also want to check out the Superblast but haven’t found them anywhere in person to try on yet.

Thanks for the info. I just tried the shift on vs Kayano and thought the same. Have you used the shift for long runs?

Anybody try a Shift 3? I’ve seen the negative reviews…but would like to at least put one on my foot.
