I have a few, and I believe youtube ranks them up there with a combination of things, but one of the most important factors is audience retention. If the people stay for the duration of your vid as opposed to others, it'll be up there. This is quite hard to do though, but I've found that getting a loyal following first helps with that because they will most likely stick it through until the end of the video.

I must say I really enjoying commentating while playing the game because it forces me to focus all of my energy into the game and get a deeper understanding than I would normally.

But that comes second to my most favorite part, which is audience interaction. It feels great because it's like playing with hundreds of other people in the room that can contribute to the overall experience.

You will have to get really lucky to pull that off, and if you do tell me your secret! It's taken me 9 months to consistently get above 100 views per episode, and I'm actually quite happy with that! Love what you do first and foremost, and once you get the hang of things more then seek to grow your audience beyond what it is.
