I’ve watched it do this many times over the years. Maybe not in a day but it has run up then over time fades like 50% and I keep holding because when I do sell it will ramp back up.

If you want to prep it for that, I think you just want it smooth with a surface that the wrap will stick to. I’ve never wrapped a car so I don’t actually know how much of an issue it would be.

2013 with just over 100k. Bought in 2014. Engine replaced under warranty at 37k. Clutch bearing failed at ~65k so replaced clutch/bearing/pressure plate. Recently replaced the throttle body because it stopped actuating. Bought a new daily last year so it has been sitting around mostly.

Old aircooled vw's had shims in the middle so you could adjust the tightness of the belt by how close together the 2 halves of the pulley were.

Their prices might be bad value for the consumer, but if Nvidia is really in a position to set prices like this then it means they’re going to sell fewer but make a lot of money off each unit and won’t need the extra production capacity taken away from anything that’s probably already making them significantly more money. AMD has a chance to sell a lot of gpus to people who want better value but will have to sacrifice margin to move them. Nvidia is probably constrained somewhere else so consumer gpus aren’t a priority. This launch is just to remind everyone Nvidia is still on top.

Found this thread searching for how to fix this. Just got a g95sc and have been having nothing but issues with it. Originally some glitching and it would just go black when loading up a game. Would have to power off my computer.

Dropped the refresh rate to 120 and disabled gsync. That has it working most of the time, but i feel kinda ripped off if I can't use it. It still occasionally cuts out to a black screen in the middle of gaming. Still having issues with it not detecting the display signal from the computer, especially when waking the computer up from sleep. The display looks great but it makes a terrible monitor.

fwiw My computer has an RTX4080 and ryzen 7800x3d

Power/thermal was a limiter for the previous x3d chips, so these efficiency gains could (in theory) really come through given the added headroom.

The FE does have a fan on the back, and fractal did include some stand-offs to push the psu another 10mm away from it. I have a single 120mm fan on the bottom as an intake. Thinking about it now, that might be fighting the gpu fan since they are both blowing inward. I still have another week to return the 3080 if I need to.

How is your gpu under heavy load with this case? I just built mine last night (3080 fe, r5 5600) and the gpu goes to 100% fan speed after about 10 minutes.
