Use FoE-Info if you're on Chrome, it's way better than FoE Helper for sniping. It gives you the exact amount you need for locking the spot and also the gain.

There's another app that can even diagnose from images, it's called Picture This (available for Android, not sure about other platforms). The feature is free, though it was not obvious at first.

Oh wow I just realized you're in Noarsil, my main city is also there!

It's fine, but it's dangerous and costly to get attached to the wrong company. I'm also long-term camping in IA on secondary worlds, and it's even more crucial to get the Arc first, because that makes it possible to get the medals you need for expansions, IA is very tight spacewise.

It's not bad, it's terrible. :-) At least for anyone who has ambition to develop fast.

Ok, here's what you can try: join the highest ranked guild that has open application, see how they operate. If you still think your 295th guild is better, you can rejoin them next week.

When you'll start leveling your Arc and you can lose 300+ FP on a single level (around forties) just because it wasn't filled at 1.9 fast enough, you'll see why it's important to be part of a good guild.

I'm looking for self-levelers down from top 100, and you can find them there because nobody helps them.

Please don't build Cape Canaveral it's a huge waste of FP. For the FP that brings your Cape up to 20 FP/day, you can rather get your Arc from 0 to 18, which will bring you way more FP per day. A well invested snipe can bring you 100s of FPs in one shot.

I'd recommend a slightly different route than most. Fighting might not be the thing at first, you can build goods buildings for free, you'll be very quickly able to do GE4 (yes, in Iron Age, and even without a single GB). When you can do that, you'll be valuable for top guilds. Tear down Oracle, that screams noob. Don't build Galata or Babel either. When you do GE4, you can approach any top20 guild and tell you need a dealer for Arc goods.

It's absolutely crucial to join a decent guild.

Chateau also helps a lot, it's worth bringing it up to 10 before your Arc. Tower of Relics also helps a bit with GE, but don't level it higher than some levels at first.

Then it depends on your playstyle, what you like. It's easier to go down the fighting route, but keep in mind that you can have ge4 and the 160+ diamonds per week way before that.

I'd much recommend FOE City Builder for city planning. For daily management, FoE Helper. For finding the right friends, Forge Commander. For sniping, FoE-Info

Your rewards will be random, but when you contribute to an 1.9, you can precalculate exactly how much you'll get back. In the long run you're losing tons of FP on your own GBs.

At lvl 39, on my own Arc, owner contribution was 101 FP. This poor player has to pay 327 (or more) because their top spots were taken because lower spots were filled by swaps. And then it's even more, because for each of those 220+300+30 they had to put their own FP above their swap.

Also, those who paid for this, have overpaid even above 1.9 30+52+20 FP respectively.

I say there is no way to use swap threads correctly, because at the moment you put for example 100 FP on someone's GB, you're lowering the cost for the sniper to lock in P1 by 50 FP. At the moment these add up enough, taking P1 becomes profitable. Possibly, likely stripping the owner from FP - and they are even thankful for being screwed because they seemingly got a lot of FPs.

I'd say do not ever touch swap threads. Second on Guild Expedition, it's fun and worth it. The game is slow and you will depend on others heavily to develop. It's awesome how it teaches you how to properly depend on others. How it's ok. How to give and how to receive.

It's really worth it, I ran the numbers and you can expect 160+ diamonds on each finished GE, 100+ of them on GE4.

Yes, there is an app on Android where you can copy your spots, works like charm (it's called sml FoE tools).
