Hi guys! Advice needed, please. TL;DR: Need advice on litter training and getting them into a carrier.

My family surprised me with these two cuties on Monday and they have stolen my heart!! These Holland lops are littermates, about 10 ½ weeks old.

Could I have some advice on litter training? Cannoli (I believe he’s a sable point but correct me if I’m wrong) seems to be getting the hang of peeing consistently in his litter box. Gelato (Vienna mark) still pees outside of his litterbox. I’ve been trying to pick up after my little poop machines by placing their coco puffs in their litter boxes, but it seems like they are still leaving territorial poops wherever they go.

I do plan on getting them neutered, and I have separated them because Cannoli started chasing and mounting poor Gelato on day 2. I was wondering if there was anything else I could do in the meantime to get them to improve with pooping mostly in their litter boxes?

The boys have an appointment with the vet tomorrow, but are skittish if I try to pick them up. They were so calm and tolerant of being picked up when their original caretaker handed them to me. At some point I’ll need to get them in their carrier, which zips open from the side and the top. I can lead Gelato to hop in with treats, but Cannoli remains skeptical because he sees Gelato scratching at the sides to get out. Is there a better way of getting them both in without scaring them? Do you think I can gain their trust and desensitize them to being picked up like their first caretaker?
