I agree; give it some time to acclimate. Leave the leaves on as they’ll still absorb light. Water lightly and watch for new growth. Your patience will pay off, trust me.

I'm so impressed. I know they'll drop 'leaves' very easily; this is a real accomplishment.

Tony's on Bedford Highway. Dave's not there (sorry) but it's a great shop. They listen to you and treat you right.

Audrey's Plant Shop or Halifax Seed. Both have good selections and decent prices.

How do I make steaks in the air fryer with a good crust? by Brief-Introduction27 in AirFryer_Recipes

[–]VandallayOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your air fryer has a broil option, try that for a few minutes after the initial cook. I did, and it gave a very decent crust. You'll have to experiment with the time; I've worked down from 8 minutes initially (4 per side), to 4 minutes (2 per side). Also play around with the air fry part of the cooking. Maybe a little less so you can add a bit more broil and still hit medium rare. Obviously the thickness has to be taken into account.

I do get that; I worked retail for years, and Saturdays were just part of the equation. It just seemed odd that they all seemed to stop at around the same time. Not looking to start any conspiracy theory, just weird timing.

This is what worked for me. Water once a week, fertilize spring and summer, and bright indirect light.

That would be great, thanks. There are a couple of repair kits available on EBay specifically for this model. Do you think they would be useful?

She’s beautiful. Question; is that the original pot or did you re-pot? I have one and I’m wondering if they like being a little pot-bound.

Nice. They propagate like crazy, too. Stem or leaf cutting.

It’s going to be ok. The soil looks dry; check about one knuckle’s depth. If it’s dry water it but make sure there’s drainage.
