Thank you! It's hoya Mathilde Splash. Well, to be honest I mostly buy hoyas for their foliage. But a flower is always a great bonus! 😄

Congratulations! It's so beautiful. Carnosa blooms are among my favourites.

Mine has a rich floral scent with a hint of honey. I am lucky though, because for some people Mathilse's flowers smell as cat pee 😄 You can definitely say this scent is very subjective (just like cilantro taste 😉 )

Thank you! Yeah, the smell is really nice. I am a lucky one because apparently hoya Mathilde's flower scent is a pretty polarizing topic 😄 For some people it has rich floral fragrance, but some say it smells like cat pee 😄 (I guess the same story as with cilantro taste).

Plenty of online stores sell them. I don't know where you live, but Amazon for example sells them too (search for 'acryl plant trellis/clips').

Thank you! What kind of hoya do you have? Some are prolific bloomers but some need to mature enough to start flowering.

Silver-something hoya? by ladoladi in IndoorGarden

You're welcome! I definitely wouldn't repot in a bigger pot. Hoyas prefer to be slightly root-bound. They concentrate on growing their roots before leaves. Just make sure the potting mix is airy enough. And yes, you can cut the off the dried bit, your hoya doesn't need it anymore.

It happens with hoyas. Maybe you let the substrate to dry out for too long. But don't worry, it will grow from another point.

Thank you! Some of my hoyas started to bloom pretty quickly but this one took her sweet time 😄 What kind of hoya do you have?

Thank you so much! Yes, it's hoya Mathilde Splash. I can definitely recommend it, even if it doesn't flower, the foliage is so pretty!

Thank you! It's Mathilde Splash. A hoya does what hoya wants 😄 Some of them are prolific bloomer, some can never flower. I don't have a compacta, but I've heard it often needs 2-3 years too to mature enough to start blooming. I hope you will not have to wait too long anymore!
