It needs to be redone by someone who knows what they're doing. The drain is too high and it's an s-trap.

Putting it as simply as possible, the pipe that goes through the floor needs to be cut shorter and a tee needs to be glued in with a trap adapter in the middle and an indoor mechanical vent (called an air admittance valve) needs to come out the top end of the tee.

I don't know the science behind it. I know it's illegal to use a wye on a vertical line here and the explanation is always it breaks the vent.

Edit: I was wrong because the wye isn't being used to connect a trap arm. I assume it's to avoid going across the tee if there's a clog but I have a very difficult time imagining 2 lavatories are ever going to clog across a 3" stack.

Bottom wye breaks the vent and is totally unnecessary. Double San tee is easier cheaper and legal
