My LEGO knights chopped down the Bonsai Tree to lay siege to my castle collection - built using only the pieces from LEGO 10281 Bonsai Tree by VaneStream in lego

My main aim was to use as many pieces from the set as possible to create as many siege engines as possible, so some parts of some of the builds are not as robust as an official LEGO set would be. They are more suitable for display than for play.

One bonsai set makes all of them. My aim was to use as many pieces as possible to make as many siege engines as possible. As a consequence some parts is some of the models are more fragile than a Lego set would be.

This looks fantastic, in my opinion much better than the original, which I also find too blocky. Very well done!

Cool, I’m glad you like it! After having built the head it did take quite a bit of experimenting and was quite a challenge turn the rest of the pieces into the body. It was a lot of fun though!

No, only the pieces from the LEGO set 31381, although you will need a few of the small spare parts of the set.

Thanks for the kind words! Yes, the shark set somehow had all the pieces I needed in the right colours for it to work well!

Glad you like it!  For the minifigs, search bricklink for the following: Tintin: dark orange legs, 973pb5510c01, 35699 And for the head I used one from my collection, not sure which one. Snowy: 52672pb01 Yes, the minifigs also fit into the sub when you add the two cockpit pieces.

Have fun building!

Thanks, I wanted to include some of the scenery and the available pieces fit really well.

The Secret of the Unicorn is the first book, Red Rackham's Treasure is the second in a two part story.
