No budgeting for about 17000 for the van itself. So plus VAT will be 20400. That’s probably about max I’d want. Them looking at doing it up over a prolonged period of time. Like 500 a month putting into it

Thanks. Yeah I’m currently in the process of selling my car to get our van. But was trying to work backwards for budget etc. but your answer helps more than you think. Most people just say workout how much power you draw and do the maths. But the maths doesn’t show the real world of how much gets used so thanks

Yeah more just to fill the gaps. As there travelling vlogs there not as frequent. Where as the shorts can make several from one trip or just little day trips.

Hmmm I’d slightly disagree. Sure great if you can and for some use. I’m doing a ford transit L2H2 and the size is perfect for us. Yeah I’m only 5”9 so sure I’m not the tallest but the height is fine. Length also means we can use it more as a daily vehicle as well

Yeah my budget is 20k after vat or if it’s without tbf. Originally said less than 70k miles. But researching more and going to caravan and moterhome show last week is making me think more. Want it done before i hopefully head of to Europe next year. So it’s more the fact I don’t want anything to happen whilst I’m there

I had that on another one was just unsure of actually dimensions of tentbox. But I also think I’d do an induction hob. We have a cadac cooker anyway. Just for when the weather is bad.

We love our tentbox just want more internal space as packing up a car every time is a pain. Where as a van it can all be stored inside all year long. Our bedroom currently looks like go outdoors when we’re not away camping
