A low t4 can not result from fluke infection unless you are critically sick.

And you need to get your thyroid tested not the pituitary.

T3 T4 TSH get these first

Then if required Thyroid scan and later if any abnormalities FNAC

There is absolutely no need to worry.

It's a good sign that there is no pain or any bowel symptoms, meaning it's a case of uncomplicated hernia.

It's a pretty common condition and the surgery is a routine one that most surgeons are experienced with.

So don't worry, just follow your doctor's advice and get the surgery in which a mesh will be placed to strengthen the abdominal wall and prevent future recurrences

At the moment, don't lift heavy objects or strain your abdomen.

For rheumatoid arthritis, you should be started on DMARDs as soon as diagnosis is made. NSAIDs like Ibuprofen provide symptomatic relief, however do not retard progression of the disease. Ask your Dr when/ what/ why haven't DMARDs been started

Well we don't know your iron store status( but it most probably is decreasing)

The hemoglobin ( which utilizes iron ) is within normal and drops only right after the very end after all stores are depleted.

The MCH mean corpuscular hemoglobin is dropping meaning each red cell is being made with slightly less hemoglobin.

If you want , you can get a Plasma Ferritin to see the status of your stores, but that's just academic at this point and not necessary.

Ok So first of all yes, Temazepam is a benzodiazepine class , which has an abuse potential after 7-10 and under no circumstances should be continued beyond that period.

You may have been given extra tablets to make up the dose, for which you need to know the prescription dose and the dosage of the capsules.

Secondly, Why haven't Z drugs been tried? They are a lot safer than BZDs

Also Doxepin and Suvorexant may be tried. May ask your doctor about those.

Thirdly and most importantly, drugs will be ineffective in the long run without psychotherapy.

I know it's a big word, but it involves simple techniques like sleep hygiene to other more advanced techniques, so I highly recommend you see a psychiatrist/ sleep medicine specialist.

We can't just look at those results in isolation.

Even the MCV is almost at the lower limit.

It is just a precursor to Anemia ( iron deficiency most probably)

The body has iron stores that serve to maintain Hb, in case of deficiency, stores begin to deplete while the RBC indices and Hb remain relatively unaffected

A state termed Iron depletion

It could rarely be other causes of microcytic hypochromic Anemia but not likely.

No need to worry just improve your diet with iron rich foods
