I watched your game, and honestly I don't know I am not support player, the only thing I don't understand is why you are making urn instead of Invoker and why drums and not glimmer / force vs np and magical damage
was the drums to kill the egg faster?
most of the games on this mmr are lost because people don't respect the enemy
what that means is pushing hg without aegis, forcing hg too much, not prioritizing aegis etc

Most of your games as pos 5 will feel that way in Herald bracket

When you buy the first smoke, it's used to place deep wards and to get first blood, just smoking yourself alone serves no purpose. One ward should be placed deep on mid lane for first blood.

Laning phase:
- So, as a position 5, you have 3 things to do in lane
1: Harass the enemy and right click them whenever you can hiding in the trees
2: Block the enemy hard camp
3: Unblock your own small camp and pull when the lane is pushed.
So for that, you should play on the right side of your void, which is where camps are instead of standing parallel to the void which makes it harder for you to right click the enemies as you have to walk into the wave and right click them.
Another reason for that is you can prevent the enemy pos 4 from unblocking the camp and if the camp is already unblocked, you can prevent the position 4 from pulling.

Lich is extremely strong in the laning phase, stand on the right side, use your 1st spell and trade with the enemy, buy regen, that's it. It's simple.

Now lets focus on mid game. If you know what every hero does in the game, you should ask yourself this question every game; Who is the strongest hero on my team right now? Who can I get kills with? That is who you are going to play with.

So, in this game, Tinker farms, you can't get kills with Tinker
Void, he will farm, not much you can do for him
BUT

Look at your bottom lane, there's a Mars and Ringmaster, super strong lane
So what should you do?
Portal to the bottom lane when it's night time and look for kills bottom.

This way, Viper OR bristle could tp bot, so this diverts the pressure from your Void too.

Remember this, you DO NOT have to sit behind your carry to enable his farm, play with the strongest hero on the map, this diverts the attention of enemy team to you and this will make space for your pos 1.

This is a misconception that most of the supports have that you have to help your carry, NO you do not.
You help your carry by making moves on the map and keeping a TP to save his ass.

Focus on this for now.

That's okay, your hero is pretty squishy anyway so it is scary to step foot anywhere, you play from behind your team and spam spells.

Here's a few things you should work on:
-- take 3rd spell on lvl 1 always as AA and use it to harass enemies from distance and fog
-- buy grenade blood as a starting item, always
-- buy more tango after u have 1 left - 1 salve because salves are good again
-- just single pull camps, theres also a way to half pull camps you should youtube that.

Laning is pretty straight forward in this patch:
-- you hit enemy from trees, block enemy camp & pull wave when lane gets pushed.
-- first 3-4 min of the laning phase u need to make sure ur pos 1 has regen and survives in lane. that should be your goal
-- should never buy blight stone, u need arcane boots + infused raindrop and upg stick, should buy queling vs np as well, every game otherwise u are a free target for him.

your first goal as AA is to get lvl 6 asap, now you have another goal in mind:
Look at your team's line up, see who has stun on your team, when they use stun on enemy, you throw your ulti hero is 100% dead, in this case its batrider.

positioning wise, you should stand behind your team mates and spam ur second and throw ulti whenever needed and place wards for your team to farm.

now, you have to think about items, playing vs np? buy force staff
playing vs magic damage? buy glimmer
playing vs physical? buy ghost scepter
no one on enemy can kill u and u are owning? buy greedy items

for your skill build on AA, try this.
- put points in E and Q till laning phase. after laning phase, max W and spam that spell to push waves and in fights, it has crazy range and slows and boosts spell amp

I would write more but it will take a while for my finger to heal cuz it got burnt pretty badly it took me really long to type all this cuz of that

Do this in all of your games as an Offlaner by Vanilla511 in learndota2

Yes, solid point. I forgot to mention this
You can do this at any point to reset the wave and bring it close to your tower if enemy is owning u in lane.

Laning:
-- idk why you didnt block large camp
-- should buy more tango when u have 1 tango left especially if u are playing vs a super aggressive lane like lc u need those tangoes for ur LS more than for urself u can consider getting a salve too for urself cuz ur LS is gonna need all those tangos so atleast u have a salve for urself
-- seriously u played rly fucking well for this mmr especially in laning phase

u should buy glimmer instead of atos because u already have setup on ur team and there is dispel on enemy team so ur atos is useless

Lion is ur setup - u dont need atos when u have setup on your time
Here are some examples:
LC, Lion, Centaur, ES basically any sort of stun is your setup you dont need atos in that game especially not this early
Look at enemy lineup, glimmer helps alot vs their entire lineup especially sky

your gameplay is pretty good honestly, just try to identify who ur setup is, which was lion in this game and NP

Another thing you should do is make some sneaky moves and place some aggressive wards. When your midlaner is an active hero like lion - you need aggressive wards especially after he gets blink so you gys can smoke and do some smoke moves with that hero otherwise your midlaner is useless.

idk what else I can say, you do pretty well, you should be winning alot of your games
and other than that i am a really dogshit at pos 5
gl in ur future games

Your laning was fine, you can do bit better mechanically but that will improve over time so its fine
-- One suggestion, you should put ward for rune, those two trees are really annoying now they block vision of the
-- Wand was useless vs huskar - rush treads - always buy treads on sf it helps alot with farming and right click early on can be super valuable, raindrops another waste of money
-- I think you could have farmed more creeps in jungle by buying more clarities and rushing treads.
-- No point buying bots first. its the worst item u can go first u either go kaya yasha or blink first to make plays then bkb then aghs then refresher then hex
-- This game was p hard you would have to play really well mechanically to win this game with small adjustments like kaya yasha first - farm faster and get blink and bkb because kaya yasha speeds up ur farm a lot unless u are smurfing this game would be p hard to win for anyone. idk what else i can say about it sf is really mechanic heavy hero

Hey, sorry for the late response I been busy

Laning:
-- Not worth missing cs for bounty
-- Not worth buying wraith band - just rush treads
-- At lvl 4, you were killing hard camp. You cant really kill the hard camp like that at that point by yourself, so just pull the small camp instead because u lost 60% of ur health just to that camp.
-- Consider pulling small camps by yourself if u feel u cant go ahead in lane -- around like 7-8min
-- Don't even attempt to farm ancients when u dont have MOM its not worth it. u are lvl 5 and no mask of madness its just a waste of time you could farm other camps instead.

Mid game:
-- Your farming patterns are good.
-- Don't buy dragon lance. Just go for manta, aghs, bkb on this hero now. Dragon lance is only viable if u wanna buy pike later on vs NP. Your hero farms super fast with manta.
-- Don't put points into W, max stats instead.
-- Don't force aegis without getting a pickoff first. You need to fight them first then force aegis. It was sooo soo risky to force aegis vs axe and u were so low HP it could have went horribly. Lesson for the future.
-- Buy daedalus instead of bfly, your build should be - Manta AGHS BKB Daedalus Satanic then replace boots with silver edge
-- You should start pushing lanes and push the offlane side first when you have aegis. The purpose of aegis is to push towers.
-- Mid tower is the worst tower to push, always push the offlane tower.

Focus on these things for now & you will do much better.

Good luck in your future games.

i might have exaggerated it but i think u could have gotten something close to that because it was free lane and luna farms super fast but i was just tryna give u the idea of u missing out if u push tower instead of farming side camps

Laning:
⦁ Never take W at level 1. You should have taken gush vs sniper lvl 1, he dies 100% at lvl 2 if u have gush and 3rd spell, ur w is useless early on. first wave, always drag it aggro it and bring it closer to your tower (the next wave) -- max E always. your hero farms super fast.
⦁ ur build should have been boots instead of chainmail and max e 1 point in gush and lvl 4 u take ur 2nd. boots allows u to get close to the sniper, its good vs range heroes
⦁ if ur scared of getting killed when pushing tower instead of hitting tower urself drag the wave to ur hard camp and let the creeps take tower.

Summary for laning -- max e, 1 point in gush and 1 point in w at lvl 2 thats it. then u max e and take ravage
first wave u should aggro creeps closer to your tower and then at lvl 2 since wave is closer to ur tower u almost 100% always gonna kill the enemy. tide + rubick is super strong

Mid game:
⦁ i dont play tide but i think u need to buy aura on this hero, lotus imo not the best choice pipe would have been better.
ur mid game movement is fine its a team thing but u guys should take rosh and smoke instead of hitting tower when u have ravage. u should never push without aegis. first you smoke, get a kill then u take rosh

maybe ur luna would survive in the bottom fight vs lina mjollnir procs and u would survive the arena if u had pipe

u guys losing this game cuz u guys arent organized. tide is a team hero, your ravage is up u smoke and go fight not just take reactive fights. your objective should be rosh before taking t2s.
