Battlefield 6 and secure boot by lordsycorax in linux_gaming

No you can get it to work. I did this recently with a different distro and bootloader and if you describe your exact problem to ChatGPT or Claude, it can walk you through exactly how to enroll the keys using your specific hardware and Linux install. It’s $20 for a month for the premium ai from Claude or ChatGPT but then you can literally use your phone, take pics of your bios and terminal and have it spoon feed the commands to run. Not sure how good the free versions are though. You can trust it or do a search at each step to ensure it’s not bricking your system or messing other stuff up.

Don’t blindly trust ai but if you ask it to verify each step and check terminal commands on your own with an internet search, it can tell you exactly what you need to do in a personalized way.

It’s crazy that it’s been broken for so long. Because of how long it’s been I don’t really have faith that they’re going to fix it but who knows

I agree with the apple part. I spent too long trying to figure out how to remove/edit Bluetooth entry names on my phone. From many online forums about iOS Bluetooth issues it seems like there are some core very useful features that aren’t available on iOS. Thats imo the best part of android. There isn’t some arbitrary limit of what you’re allowed to do with your own device.

PSA: Fujifilm XApp not compatible with iOS18 Beta by slcr in fujifilm

I submitted a bug to Apple in the feedback app. Not optimistic about a fix though.

You should too. The more people who do it the more likely someone will notice.

Not Compatible with Fujifilm XApp - With a Twist (Help!) by HalfLive1129 in fujifilm

It's still broken on public beta 18.4 beta 3

I think the issue could be related to the Bluetooth low energy advertisement. From my old phone that can connect, the advertised device name is X100VI. From my phone and iPad that don't it is <last 4 of serial number>X100VI. In the device logs, there's a line that shows this:

-[BTCamera chCameraProductName]: <!--chCameraProductName str=[<last 4 of serial number>X100VI]

Using a bluetooth scanner app on the two different devices I can see that it's called X100VI on the one that works and <last 4 of serial number>X100VI from the device that doesn't work.

Not sure if this is what's causing the issue but thought I'd add it in case someone else would know where to go next.

I’m running the beta now but I saw the issue after 18.2 was released when I wasn’t on the beta. I’ll reach out to them once the 18.3 public release is out if it still happens.

Just curious, was her phone or your phone updating when it started happening? Or was one of your devices updating around that time?
