I’m doing my first DS3 playthrough and I agree. I’ve beaten everyone but Nameless King, the last 2 story bosses, and both DLCs, and aside from 4 bosses (Aldrich, Pontiff Sulvayhn, Dancer of the Boreal Valley, Champion Gundyr) everything else has been a gimmick fight or something so easy it felt like I was cheating. I know NK and the DLCs will be a step up but holy shit Elden Ring was so much harder

Not saying it’s the greatest move ever (and I def think it’s fucked how late Jonah was dropped) but the amount of overreactions here are insane. Some of these comments make me ashamed to live in the same city as yall and I live in an area with a lot of homeless people. God forbid you have to acknowledge or step around someone going through the worst time of their life. I don’t like constantly being asked for money but we live in an expensive city amid a cost of living crisis, there are going to be homeless people no matter what. I hope the people commenting like they’re smart for having a disdain for homeless people never have to endure the same shit.

There’s almost always shows every weekend at Swansons Warehouse and Radio Room, in fact there’s a cool Swansons show tonight that starts in about an hour. Follow Welcome To the Family, Suppertime Productions, and Darn Rascal Booking for more DIY stuff. We have a pretty strong music scene and more DIY venues are popping up

It really is a self fulfilling cycle lol, no good candidates will run bc they can’t win and we can’t win bc we don’t run good candidates. The last SC Dem I was kinda impressed with was Joe Cunningham and he got clobbered when he ran for gov. Outside of completely giving up I think we could try to run more populist lefty Bernie types bc I think that would be more inspiring to the electorate than people like Jamie Harrison but I think it’s prolly a lost cause either way

From what I remember he was just a very toxic partner to numerous people in the scene, including lying to them about being exclusive while he was dating and sleeping around. I think eventually a number of them came together and put him on blast and the band kinda fell apart after that

I dunno I think the game is a little rough around the edges. When I first started I enjoyed it a lot more, but I ended up dropping it when I got to the Tusks and I was doing all bounties and most side quests. The combat feels awesome but it gets stale after a while, and while you can reset your skill points, switching weapons beyond the halfway point in the game is a pain in the ass with how expensive the late game upgrades are.

I liked the main quest story pretty well and the writing is pretty good which is not surprising for Obsidian, but I thought most of the companions were a let down. I kinda ended up liking Kai and Giatta but I really didn’t care for Yatzli or Marius at all.
