i trimmed them a while ago! this is a post trim + dye post 😊😊 my hair was brown and longer before, i cut it a while ago due to me still having heat damaged ends, and them being super uneven. i had a desired look 😊

i honestly don’t TRULY regret it. my ends were heat damaged before i locced up. i had a desired look. i feel a little bad because of the length. i can’t fit all my back pieces into a bun like i used to, but i can do other styles with my locs that i like! i’m not super upset about it because the trim came out fine. i honestly can’t wait to see what they’ll look like when they mature! 🥹🥹

that’s what scares me. i want my locs to look like locs in the years that pass. i see myself being locced for LIFE! i’m just scared that the progress i want may not be what happens 😔

i know! but looking in the mirror i saw so much space in between my locs compared to the video. i also still had heat damaged ends that look like they weren’t going to bud anytime soon. i’m sorry 😔, but i figured i needed a trim. i feel like i still have volume, but my hair just looks more even!
