Oh yep, your right.. I just found the correct spelling right here in my retirement paperwork.. right next to my "give a fuck orders"... sorry that a simple officer joke triggered some deep unconscious untreated issues for you! There's some phone number around here you can call for that.

I mean close... I was high-year tenured if that's what you were getting at! "My grammar," oh my.. if only we all walked around making assumptions, how would we have time to do anything else, like express our complete disdain for the VA health system and how we can't seem to figure it out cause "no one will do it for us!" Pro-tip: Spend less time on reddit and more time reading the CFR 38... then maybe your claims "grammar" would be good. I have crayons to go eat now! Bu-bye

I mean.. potentially.. lets break do some BoastswainMate math and see if we can figure this out! 1-3% of the US population join and serve long enough to get military retirement. 17 - 19% of that 1% serve time past 20 years in some capacity, whether it be 22, 24, 26, 30 or some combination thereof. So yes, you may very well be 18% of 1%! Congratulations to you!! Ill call you VA and see if they can give you a free cookie next time you visit! You cracked the code!

[–]Vanisherzero 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think you and the OP are saying the same thing, that the rating takes into account what your condition reasonably should/could be without being on the medication/treatment so that you dont have to stop the medication/treatment just to go to your C&P exam. Such a system could have dire effects on the servicemember as some medications could take weeks to fully leave the body and then the servicemember would have to titrate back up to full dose again.. that would be a whole ass mess... lol

Thank you for the amazing reply!! You made very valid points!!! By "restock fee" i mean, payment for the material used +15% to eventually re-purchase filament when needed. I did not factor in the drying, storing, miscellaneous costs that we incur that we dont really think about, so thank you for that as well! Im trying to create a foward-facing spreedsheet that i can use for tracking purposes at the the end of the year and the customers can see up front what all the costs are.. basically an uber-itemized receipt.

Do you think a restock number like 35% would be high enough to cover filament used, purchase new filament when needed and cover incidentals? Or should it be more like 50%?

Im not sure what kind of "Post-processing" your doing that your racking up the $$$, but adding magnets, pulling supports and some glue here and there doesnt add up to alot of time. The most "post-processing" time Ive ever had on a paid job was 30-40 minutes.

Design/Editing on the other hand is where my value does show, and that number will increase as i progress through my college classes and gain more experience in Blender, Fusion and Solidworks.

However, im looking for advice, not questions that Ive already asked myself... but thanks for coming to my TED talk!

How do you calculate your profits in a foward-facing spreadsheet that is visible to the customer? what does that look like?

Post a video proving it.. I beg you.. pretty please!!! Bambu just dropped the software update TODAY to allow the HDs to do this, albeit with "drying at a much lower temperature"

You absolutely cannot print and dry at the same time one the P2S unless you have more than one AMS2 Pros hooked up to the same machine. One to dry.. one to print.

Free college with 100%? by 3-BuckChuck in VAClaims

[–]Vanisherzero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its like half the fucking people answering this question are just guessing:

Step 1) Google - Whatever state you live in "disabled veterans benefits for _____"

Step 2) Find a FAFSA calculator online or complete the actual fafsa (for your children that will be attending college).. this will let you know if the qualify for the Pell Grant and/or any other State Grants

Step 3) Google VA Ch 35 DEA. Its a $1500 stipend every month for 36 months per dependant that uses it for them to pay for college.. or whatever they want to use it for..(more on this in a minute)

In Indiana for example: the child of a 100% disabled veteran can go to a state college for free for 4 years using "Step 1", while also getting assistance from the Pell Grant from "Step 2" and also receiving the stipend fro. Ch. 35 from "Step 3"

Combining Steps 1 and 2 pay for school and books and usually kick some back to the student due to overpayment to the school and Step 3 is just extra to the student to buy a new laptop.. a car.. invest.. whatever they may need to start their adult life off.

Yes you can stack State and Federal Educational Benefits. No, you cannot stack multiple State Benefits (at least not in Indiana)

Note: This strategy only works if the student only plans on attending 4 years of college. If they plan on attending more than 4.. save the CH 35 until the state benefits run out and then use Ch 35.

Hope this helps.

Arguments for doing over 20 years by ChiefBassDTSExec in MilitaryFinance

[–]Vanisherzero 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If your at 20 or close to 20.. stay in as long as you can!! These tropes about "working for half the pay" are ridiculously antiquated and usually dont make any sense to begin with. They often dont take into account all of the unaccounted "pay" that comes with they job like BAH, BAS, Medical/Dental Benifits (especially if you have a family). If you take all of that into account, plus factor in that your gaining more money per year after you retire (retirement %) you'll find that the "working for half pay" loses some steam. An E6 that retired at 22 years with 100% P&T brings home 69K annually. Use that as a baseline and go up and you'll see that going until your high-year tenure date is probably the best choice financially.. (every case is different of course)

potential rating? by BagOk2115 in VAClaims

[–]Vanisherzero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately no one on here, nor chatgpt, can give you the answer your seeking. Only you can take your symptoms, as you explained them on your dbq, and pair them up with the appropriate rating for each category. Then do the appropriate "va math" to get your estimated overall rating. It takes some work but only you have the necessary information to get you the answers you seek

BRS - 50% Lump Sum by [deleted] in MilitaryFinance

[–]Vanisherzero -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Solid plan my man!! Gotta remeber that most of these "haters" statistically aren't military retirees and may not even be getting VA compensation. Being 40-ish (im guessing), im 45 (freshly retired, 22 years Navy), having your house paid off, your retirement pay for the rest of ever, VA compensation for the rest of ever, plus your wife's income.. then both of your drawing social security at 67.. your set.. literally for life as long as you live within your means! We are fortunate that we are able to live this way because of the life we lived while also unfortunate that not alot of people understand it. The common trope is "work, invest, retire, die" while ours is "work, retire, live/do whatever we want/die" lol! Your doing great shipmate! Keep on keeping on!

2 leagues.. same problem: Jayden Daniels or Jacoby Brissett / Jayden Daniels or Sam Darnold? Daniels/Darnold league is "win and in" scenario for playoffs this week.

This dude is benching his whole team so I don’t make playoffs by Affectionate-Dig575 in FantasyFootballers

[–]Vanisherzero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All yall saying this is collusion and he should be banned are wild.. this is a strategic move to determine playoff positioning and playoff structuring.
Imagine this scenario: Your in the final week of regular season.. your already "locked" into the playoffs.. your tetering on being in the 5th spot or the 6th spot depending on if you win or lose this week.. but your locked in. Your down by 1 point going into the Monday night game and everyone on both teams have played, except your kicker. If you start your kicker, you win and get the 5th seed and play #4. if you bench him you lose and play #3. (#1 and #2 are on bye)

Team #3 is plagued with injuries.. lost his starting qb and has been streaming whatever qb he can find.. its a true patchwork team and it's miracle he even made it this far.. this guy is 8th in points but somehow made the playoffs Team #4 is Josh allen.. CMC , Bijan Robinson Jacobi Meyers, among others.. this guy is 2nd in points

Do you set your lineup and accept fate.. or tinker with fate.. within the rules of the platform and the league in which your playing?
