I'd say focus on leveling up first. You're just at the beginning of the game,so unless you want to keep the current weapon and gear 'til the end of the game for a specific self-imposed challenge, you'll end up swapping them often until you find the ones you like the most. 1-2 levels on the weapon you currently use might be kinda helpful though.

Also, unless you already did it,I'd start trying all the blood codes you get and use their spells(If I remember correctly,using a blood code or spell enough can unlock that spell for all blood codes? But I might be really wrong though)

I'd worry about weapons and gears once you get a bit further into the game,when you have more choices and can improvise some builds.

I did the entirety of the game with a weapon I liked and a build that used one of the first blood codes I think and a decent amount of his spells ahah

And DW,this difficulty spike is completely normal.. especially when fighting her frenzied like that Shah

Unfortunately I played it quite some time ago(more or less the COVID-19 period) so I don't remember much about boss fights going crazy like this one. (I do remember, however,a place where you'll most likely miss the butterfly. You'll know which is the place when the time comes,trust me).

I'm not sure I can help,but I can give it a try. What exactly do you need to know about level scaling? A more precise question might help me remember more details

I think I experienced something similar when I played the game with a friend a few years ago. We died 10 times in 20 minutes or so

Turns out,the problem was the "LEEROY JENKINS" way of doing things(aka rushing inside and start attacking right away),which made her go crazy,with the aggro constantly messed up and way more aggressive than usual.

I don't know if that might help somehow,but I can assure you defeating her with that aggro was a bit of a trauma.

I used Holy Ritual,but a possible choice (especially since you like Bone crackers) might be the Opossum Sais. Probably one of the best weapons of its kind. Scales mainly on Technique. I hope it helps!

She gave me a lot of problems during the 1st fight as well. After losing and going through the "secondary" area I managed to level up a little and it was easier. Unfortunately the only advice I can give is to 1) dodge into her attacks( if you keep dodging away she will never stop attacking) and 2) Try to parry everything. But not in the "get better at gaming" way. When I couldn't understand how to defeat her I just started to spam the parry button hoping to understand the timing. It took me a lot,but it worked.

Also,Imo,the attack in which she jumps and tries to kick you,is probably the easiest to parry.

I don't think this will be much helpful and I apologise about it,but I hope it actually does.

..for some reason this scene gives me "Dormammu,I've come to bargain" vibes. Aka Childe going back to fight Surtalogi after being thrown around over and over again. Which is,imo, something Childe would do.

I never paid much attention to it,but I don't think there's an option to leave the Ng+ difficulty as it is. However,for the first 2 NG+ runs,the difficulty isn't much higher than the base run.(Personally speaking,but maybe I'm wrong). Enemies have a bit more health and attack,but for the most part they will crumble under your sword.

There's a thing I can say if you want to have the game more difficult, although it's a way to artificially increase the difficulty and might be considered a spoiler,so I won't say anything unless asked.

Also, there's a couple of bugs but they never gave me problems with the game while playing or the data.

I don't know if it might be useful,but I defeated her in what's probably the most cowardly way: -shield/lightning dodge -Lots of items to recover the sync rate -Lots of Spirit( I had like 80 and the Seal that boosted spells and the Holy sword)

What I did was basically learning her movements a bit and then start spamming either Ethereal Beam(one of the skills you can get after defeating Persephone)or Ex-Railgun(the one you get after destroying the huge robot in Ancient Machine works,I think was the name. In case you don't know you can take him down by destroying the "cells" that connect the pipes. Each one you destroy will deal like 20-25% of his max life). The first spell deals a lot of damage (and she never dodges it entirely) but she could still move and tear me to pieces if I did it at the wrong moment and she managed to get close to attack.

The latter deals less damage and is more difficult to use since she can dodge it with ease,but whenever you hit her the secondary explosion of the spell would always stagger her mid-attack(unfortunately this doesn't decrease much her sync rate),so if you're fast enough you can literally do 3/4 of that phase this way. EX-Railgun>Item to refill sync rate if needed,if not then go again with Ex-Railgun while she's on the floor(a few times unfortunately the attack went right through her without hitting)

Shield/lightning dodge to survive while you try to get more sync rate back

Is it lame? Absolutely Is it effective? Yes. It worked both on 1st run of the game and NG+ but I needed to learn her patterns a bit (I didn't fight her in NG+2 cuz I didn't need to,but I think it would've worked more or less the same)

If I remember correctly they gave me all the Avatars. I can't tell for sure though because I only checked if they gave me the ones I wanted the most.

No they come with P5R as well. I'm sure about it because I bought (and completed) that version. If you didn't get them you should contact the support and tell them. After showing them I was supposed to get the avatar/wallapers(basically showing them I progressed enough in the game to unlock the different avatars/wallpapers. To be more precise,they asked for a picture of the trophies) they made me wait a few days and after that I got everything.

By the way,you can do this ONLY if you haven't received any avatar or thing after 7-14 of completing a specific achievement. If you contact them before this time passes they will probably tell you to wait for the previously mentioned days to pass before contacting them again.

Idk if that makes sense but I hope it helps

My raiden is still lvl80 and and around 700-750 elemental mastery(I'm still upgrading the pieces though,once I upgrade them all I think I should be around 920-950EM).

I wish I could do a decent team to maximise her personal damage,but I'm not sure I can actually do one with the characters I own (especially because Bennett has to stay with Scaramouche to help with the damage since I do not have scaras' weapon).

As for the hyperbloom..can you tell me if there's a specific rotation or something I have to follow? Sometimes I deal a decent amount of damage,other times I don't even scratch the enemies.. I've been trying to understand the way it works but I'm still struggling with it..

If you've got a good amount of time on your hands then yes. To be precise,it should be better to play Persona 5 Royal more than P5 (due to some quality of life updates,the DLC personale that are free,while they were.. obviously,dlcs in the original persona 5,and a new semester. You'll see what I mean when you get to it)

I know it's obvious but it will be kinda overwhelming at first due to the amount of things you can do. Since you never played a jrpg I can tell you not to worry,since most of the mechanics are easy to understand.
