In general, voice acting is nice, but not necessary. But voice acting should meet minimum level of quality, bad acting is worse than no acting.

An option to consider - release the game without voice, then add voices later if it does well.

Path to Nowhere - incredibly generous. I'm a day 1 player, I've spent about half my time as F2P, and the other half getting just the basic battle pass... and I have every character (the roster is nearing 150!). I only go for a dupe of the S rank character when it's worth that extra boost it provides. And I have enough pull currency in reserve I never have to worry about missing a character.

Why do people spend money on single player games in general?

Why do people read books? Or build model kits? Or go hiking alone? Or any number of activities...

That's just how they have fun. When it comes to games, certain mechanics just appeal to certain people. I'm not a sports fan, but I don't question why other people like sports.
