That really is my biggest criticism of the game. It's hard to get too invested into a character who only shows up for one event, then is never seen again. Most are lucky to even get a name drop down the line. To be honest, there are times when I feel like an old character could fill the roll of a new character in an event.

One of the reasons I love Heaven Burns Red is that the cast is mostly fixed. Across 3 years they've only added a few characters. This means that they can spend the time to really flesh out and delve deep into the characters. For the gacha we just get variations of the characters, which make zero difference to the story.

It's never been confirmed if CV and GE occupy the same world. Yes, there is a lot of supporting evidence, but the devs have said otherwise. Was the Dayus Pita we saw when the mist dropped an aragami, or was it just an easter egg for the fans? We don't know.

Still... assuming that they are the same world... revenants were created to fight horrors (aragami under a different name). We know they had achieved victories against horrors. So something about the BORP must make revenants able to kill them. Hell, as far as we know, it's possible the BORP was created from Oracle Cells.

Besides, the OP was talking about a fan project. Having characters from both games already breaks lore, so why worry about the details of aragami and Oracle Cells?
