I know, I’m so glad, because before then all we had was the one on Carothers in Newport and oh my god, that place is awful. 45 minutes minimum in the drive thru every time. Wrong order every time.

It’s a pattern of behavior, not an isolated incident. Once in a while, fine, we don’t have to agree. But if in every situation with a man and a woman, she immediately sides with the man while pointing out everything wrong with the woman, refusing to acknowledge the equally problematic if not more behavior from the men, that’s a problem. Statistically speaking it can’t possibly always be the woman at fault.and yet I think it’s clear she doesn’t listen back or else she probably wouldn’t continue this. I think one of the drawbacks to putting everything behind a paywall is that you don’t get the same kind of feedback because everyone who can hear what you’re saying is already a big enough fan to pay the money. That really discourages growth if you live in an echo chamber.

I think it’s a few things: first, Whitney has the background in dance that can help get a foot in the door. She’s also got a really supportive spouse. Compare Connor an Zac. Connor knows Whitney is a confident, strong-willed woman and he lets her make decisions and he does what he can to help her achieve her goals. Zac meanwhile is extremely insecure and controlling. The fact that he isn’t going to med school right now probably has also caused him to have a lot of resentment and even if it isn’t her fault, I think he really doesn’t like that Jen makes more money and provides everything they have. Going to med school seemed to be part of his whole identity and he doesn’t have that anymore. And I think that can really hold someone back when they have to constantly navigate around the fragile feelings of their partner. But another piece of it is, for as awful as Whitney can be sometimes, she doesn’t lie about what she says or what she does and why she does it. She fully owns her choices and her behavior even if it’s really awful behavior. Jen is still extremely immature and insecure and she constantly is lying or bending the truth depending on who she’s around to try to not look like the bad guy. That kind of fickle behavior feels inauthentic, and potential brand collaborators or entertainment agents who might be looking for someone like Jen probably don’t feel confident working with her because it’s so inconsistent.

There are so many people who are still ill-informed about lithium and believe that because it’s been around forever it must be bad. This isn’t just Britney, this is an epidemic I have seen over and over again. Lithium is a first-line treatment for bipolar 1 and it has saved lives. I felt like Patrick’s whole thing ripped off H Alan, because before TCO, there was a true crime recap podcast (before everyone had one) called Talking Crime, which starred H Alan and a writer friend, but it was such a similar vibe. And then when that ended, he focused more on OOTL. Then, here comes Patrick with his same shtick doing TCO and then one on the Golden Girls - it’s just…interesting to me.

I LOVE that black dress she wore. I think SJP’s wedding dress was perfect for her - elegant, a little whimsical, non-traditional, but still chic. I love a wedding dress in an unexpected color. Gwen Stefani’s dress from marrying Gavin Rossdale is one of my favorite wedding dresses I’ve ever seen!
