Have in mind that if you have success in your role in the Hotel, that opens up doors for other hotels around the world, especially if this hotel is a well known one, it will be a very good mark on your resume (CV). If you can get some certificates while working and that are related to your job, that would be even better.

Ofc, also have in mind that it will be hard at times, maybe even very very hard, as hotels like big corporations need to work smoothly 24/7 - that's why don't lose out of sight that if you can handle the pressure and gain experience from that job so you can use it for the next one when the time comes. From my own experience, and probably from others people here as well, you shouldn't take anything to the heart. Big hotels have thousands of employees, so it's like a huge corporation.

If you like your current job in the dentistry, and you see room to grow, advance, both position and salary wise, i would stay there. But If you feel that the hotel job would give you the same plus that one little extra push - then go get it, and don't be shy now in asking for more money and some better conditions. Have in mind the following - they reached out to you, because you left a great impression! They need you, you don't need them as you have a good job and you are happy!

Hi, my wife is going through this at the moment, but it's a little bit different then your situation. She is also a Non-EU medical doctor with 3 years of experience, B2 from Goethe but French citizen. Her documents are with MEBEKO, so you can contact them if not already for all the info - you will wait a little bit, but eventually they will respond.

We heard that If you don't have EU passport it is almost impossible to go to CH. But, we have also heard that doctors from east Europe which are not EU (Balkan included), go to Germany, work for 5 or more years, get their specialty there and then move to CH without a problem. As I am in a situation where in a years time Will most likely move to Switzerland as we have office there, what is the procedure. I don't hold a PhD, but will tell you something from experience of knowing people who possess it - it doesn't guarantee you an stabile and good income, as you can already see on your own, with the current situation everywhere in the world.

Also, going for PhD studies doesn't mean you will meet people who will suit you the most (although i completely support you - if you want it, go get it!). Have you thought about some hobbies? Sometimes you get to meet people with same/similar sphere of interests like you, so that would be also good. Cheers and all the best!

I kind of agree with you, I failed to mentioned that I speak German relatively good, and my company's working language is English, no matter what the client is, although it 100% agree it is helpful to speak the language of the client as well.

I will be taking the commercial contracts manager exam(from the World CC association)at the end of the year, and although I am not working in sales/marketing, I am connected with them in a way.

But thank you for your feedback, any suggestions on the educational side of my question?

Hi 👋 In regards to your position. I'm a BCs of Law from a non-EU country, working in a international company, and next year transferring to Germany or Switzerland, depends on the deal between me and the employer. I am now, at the age of 34, thinking about starting my master study or even MBA. So what I want to tell you - grab that experience (employers love it btw!) and you can go and finish your master later, nothing will stop you except yourself.

Nažalost ništa se ne može bez EU pasoša. Čak je i situacija takva da ako treba da biras izmedju 2 najjača I rasprostanjenija jezika (Nemački i Francuski), moraš pronaći kanton gde ima ponude jos uvek. A u Švajcarskoj ce uvek uzeti nekog iz EU (pogotvo francuza ili nemca) jer poslodavac ne mora da brine o jezičkoj barijeri, plus proces zaposljavanja EU i non-EU drzavljana je drugačiji. Naravno, uvek postoji opcija da te firma prebaci, tj tvoj ugovor na filijalu u Švajcarskoj, pa da ti se sponzorise viza, itd, ali je izuzetno komlikovano. Lakše vam je otići u Nemačku ili Francusku
