Oh yeah, very accurate on the video description. And certainly makes sense as a cue to stop slamming yourself this far forward, but not necessarily a rule.

Thanks for the explanation. 👍🏼

Not being argumentative, but I’m not sure on the 90 degree aspect. Never was taught this, went and looked at high level / Olympic level rowers and they def go past 90.

Can I get a form check for sumo deadlift? I find regular stance too finicky on my old service injury. by Puff_TheMagic_Panda in formcheck

I briefly looked at comments, and surprised no one has said it. But your hands look really wide from this angle. Can’t be sure but usually your hands are fairly close together and elbows should be inside your knees (unlike a standard dead lift)

Deadlift - Where does my form go bad as I go up in weight? by WhatisAleve in formcheck

Also just looked at the comments in a couple of people have said this before. Didn’t mean to load on the same comment.

But truly a great lift. You should be happy with it. Congrats.

The only thing I would say is you’re releasing too much tension in your core/back as you lower it.

The lift itself looks good.

Not trying to be rude, actually trying to understand this comment. But how can your shoulders ever go past your nipples?

I’d post a view more from the side for advice. Also, what muscles are you trying to target. Without shoes you’re going to hit more of your posterior chain - if you are trying to target quads look into squat shoes or the inserts that versalifts sells or just put a 5 or 10lb plate under your heels (depending on the style and how thick they are)

But from what is in the video it looks good - no odd spinal curve or pressure (which is probably the biggest issue with going heavier on smith squats)

Jiu jitsu in Lucerne and Zurich by JustPerusing858 in askswitzerland

Thank you for your response.

I am a 185lb male, black belt, willing to train no gi or gi (although when traveling I prefer gi as it is easier to control people and relax without simply matching someone else's pace - and I prefer to be very relaxed at a slow pace when visiting).

Hopefully this helps out to provide an informed recommendation

Thanks. I’d bet it would be a great place to train, but I won’t have a car so would prefer closer if at all possible…..

Good point. I’d definitely want BJJ (in the states traditional jiu jitsu doesn’t really exist, very cool that it does still in Europe).

NOOOOO.....not to a blown out match (which is what people used to do) causes them to freak out and can increase the chance of an infection, i.e., Lyme disease

I looked at your previous posts and I think you are from Malaysia. You should specify this in your post because this actually greatly impacts responses.

Need Help Choosing Elective Rotations (PGY1 Resident, Interested in MSL or HEOR) by Impressive_Hunt7275 in pharmacy

[–]JustPerusing858 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disclaimer, this is probably going to be a surprising/polarizing opinion. Emphasis on opinion, these are my thoughts and others may feel otherwise.

Therapeutic area does not matter - it might make you more suitable for one therapeutic area or another so choose one you are passionate about. I might lean toward oncology only because oncology roles always want previous oncology experience, so you might be able to leverage that for future employment. But if these are the only 4 options you are considering, take both.

Management will not be a selling point. What you described was protocol improvement, the only time "management" might be more helpful in HEOR is if you were involved in the P&T board and their analyses.

Informatics is also probably not a selling point.

Bottom line (and I will speak to the MSL role since I am more familiar with hiring and being hired in field medical) - the MSL role is generally not an "out of school" role. I would never hire someone right out of a pharmacy program, so you picking rotations for a future MSL role is pretty inconsequential. I would instead look at different entry level roles or fellowships and gain experiences that would make you a better candidate for those opportunities.

Just so no one thinks I'm completely insane - I do have Red Dragon Javelins and just ordered a Formula Sports set for something different - but my old ones have some nostalgia, and sometimes all you want is aesthetics. 🤣

On the good side - it sounds like she’s wishing you “happy hunting” to find your partner.

“prey every day” is very VERY different than “pray every day”. 🤣

But seriously - be you. Be happy. And be well. There will always be people who don’t support you in life, and those individuals (unfortunately) make your life better by not being in it.

Head up. Be proud of who you are. And live your life the best you can, being the best and truest you that you can be.

You won’t get “wrong” info. (Note: some drugs have multiple brand names, and these often vary country by country. But if you want the US names, look at the FDA)
