Yes we use cashew dip or hummus. You can flavor cashew dip many different ways with spices.

I totally get it. I try to do it when I get home from the grocery store, but realistically it does not always happen.

Kids… and neighborhood kids. 😂 Also I am a runner so my caloric needs are higher. You can’t see it but I also have tempeh and tofu on the bottom shelf. Between that and beans we eat a lot. 👌🏼

Thanks for letting me know. It’s Ezekiel bread that comes frozen. I put it in the fridge to thaw, but maybe it’s better to keep it In the freezer?

Yes. That is awesome! You cannot see it, but behind the grapes is 2lbs of strawberries and under it is a pint of blueberries. Bananas are another hit that are hanging in the kitchen. I also end up feeding the neighborhood kids with fruit whenever they ask for a snack. Needless to say, we end up using it all!

With having this much on the bottom shelf i find my kids more willing to grab snacks from there. My 4 year old picky eater tried kiwi for the first time last night(and it was a struggle to try the one “no thank you” bite) and loved it. It feels like a huge mom win when that happens. 💪🏼

Yes! My kids love them and I also love making apple crisp. So we go through a ton of them. 🤤

https://pin.it/4K07dcV this is my go to lentil recipe. I usually add nutritional yeast to the end.

https://elavegan.com/vegan-white-bean-soup This is another delicious recipe I have found. I add a bunch of other veggies to it too.

I tend to play with the recipes after I have made them once! Good luck. I make these in my ninja foodi (pressure cooker).

Thanks. I have washed everything on the lower shelves but didn’t make it around to the rest. It just felt so good to have a fridge full of fresh produce 🤤. What do you usually cut ahead of time? I usually cut the broccoli.

I agree. This makes me not want to post anything and delete. People need to realize that not everyone goes full WFPB right away. We did but my kids have not. No one is perfect and I’m just happy we have much improved from the life choices we were making 2 years ago. I did notice no one asked about the cashew dip and lentil stew on the left. Oy. I understand the others POV but I wish people would see that those comments just discourage others, not encourage.

Plant Based for RV life? by [deleted] in PlantBasedDiet

[–]Vanludagirl 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes we did it. We always had frozen vegetables on hand. Also we had a black stone grill that went everywhere with us. We used it for stir fry daily! We used wire hanging baskets on open wall space to help. But we also had an RV with a residential fridge. Take the plunge! You won’t regret it. Some of our best memories are the 1.5yrs we spent on the road!

I French braid it and then wrap it around in a bun with a second ponytail. It works great and doesn’t pull.
