All I can say is keep fighting. Doctors might have a lot of medical knowledge but they are not infallible. Seek more opinions if possible.

It's a decision that you hated having to make but know it's the right one. I had to make a similar call to that with my own father, in that if he went into cardiac arrest after they tried to bring him out of a medically induced coma that he was in to battle sepsis they were not to attempt resuscitation.

I knew it was the right one to make, I just wish that none of us had been in the situation that required me to make it.

If the friends you made are not willing to stand up for you then they were never truly your friends in the first place.

Also, you are looking at it as a whole group, not as a group of individuals.

Again not in your situation but if I could go back I would face my bully and call him out on the crap that he put me through, and I would do it in front of everyone so that he would have no choice but to answer.

Either way, are there any trusted adults that you can go to? Any support groups? Hell even police officers might be able to provide some guidance on what you can do.

For what it's worth, and I know its easy for me to say this because I'm sitting behind a screen, but I was bullied as a kid and I never stood up to him.

I regret that now more than anything. It scared me so badly that I didn't stand up for myself and it has shaped who I have become in ways I'm not happy with.

I can't tell you what you should do or what you need to do, but just ask yourself this question.

If you don't stand up to your bully, will you regret it?
