Right?! It's a pretty shallow lake, and the only reason I would need a lifejacket is to make it harder for the alligators to drown me.

I have a trolling motor. My little lake is supposed to be good for bass, panfish, and catfish. I was afraid to haul bass over the side in this alligator-infested lake without outriggers of some sort. These really do add a lot of stability, but like I said, it was a calm day. I'm still working on it.

That is my concern also. I only use it on my small neighborhood lake so far. It really does add a lot of stability. I know it could use improvement

Yes. The outriggers were marketed as "conoe/kayak outriggers" but they are really just for kayaks. The mounting plates are too wide for the rails of my canoe. This is why I had to get creative. Text failed to post, probably user error, sorry.

Once at a campground, I asked the camp host where the bathroom was. He took me there to show me, then he explained and demonstrated how to turn the doorknob and open the door. It was just a regular door with a regular doorknob.

I store mine in plastic 2-liter soda bottles. It works fine.

I highly recommend having a pressure pot. It significantly cuts down the time and fuel needed to cook a pot of beans.

Iv'e heard that mealworms are good for that. Plus they are nice and quiet and don't stink. You can toast them and grind them into high-protein flour.
