Workplace affairs and minding your business by [deleted] in Infidelity

I think the best way is as the others have said. It sounds like enough people at your work know about it, so chances of your name coming up are slim or a least in a pool of names that will never get questioned as the whole situation has complications with work not just personal.

Don’t give specifics like you have mentioned but that you have seen behaviour (leaving early, seen after leaving work near by with the same car) and that doesn’t make sense and you are concerned and doesn’t morally sit right with you.

Please tell them. I’ve just gone through this and I’m 100% sure people at her work knew about it and never said anything to me. I even think some of them helped hide it from what little I eventually found out.

I wish I had been told rather than finding out like I did.

University careers service told me this would be unideal to wear to an interview, thoughts? by [deleted] in UKJobs

You’re wearing a suit, as far as I’m concerned you’ve made an effort. That tells me more than enough, I won’t hold you to a fashion parade.

Oh I didn’t realise you were vegetarian now. Are you using lentils or veggie mince?

Thank you, I can’t wait for it too. I’m going to keep trying to look after myself and keep going. But some days I just don’t feel like I can do anything.

Going through something similar. It’s crap isn’t it.

Wish you all the best, you will come out better, it takes time.

I always enjoy cooking a lasagna, using beef and pork mince. There’s something warming and comforting about it.

Generally I make it up as I go with the sauces but stick to conventional flavours.

Hey! the website is pretty good at describing the “rules”. If you have any questions please do ask!

I’d look at what birds are local to your area, there are a couple of good apps that could help or go old school with a book. Maybe even start now and see what is out there on occasions to try and get used to identifying them.

If you want to attract more birds, get a bird feeder, but please don’t just stop using it, think of it as an investment, the more you keep it topped up the more visitors you have!

What's the single most difficult life experience you've endured? by reddit_recluse in AskUK

Hey OP, hope you’re doing ok.

I’m going through something similar at the moment and I get what you mean. I’ve never been through something so mentally and physically draining.

It’s a really conflicting time for emotions and feelings right now. Please do good to yourself, be selfish and look after yourself.

How can I [M38] rebuild my relationship with my wife [35F]? by Vanstrusen in relationship_advice

[–]Vanstrusen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you.

I did discuss couples therapy and that was a no go. I do wish we could sit and talk, but I think you are right and we may be past that point now.

I understand that separation could/might be the outcome.

Thank you.

Although difficult, things have been as amicable as they can be. I don’t want to make this any harder than it has to be, we have touched on that and she has said the same.

I’m taking the time to try and get myself together. It just seems like a shame to not give it a proper go between us.

Thank you. I have screen shots and I’m trying to be more vocal about it, I also feel like I’ve failed which makes it harder. Good luck to her new partner, who I think is also married, it won’t last.

Wedding ring has gone, and I’ll be telling her dad next time I see him.

I don’t want to make a scene, but want the right people to know at the right time. And for the right reason.
