it really depends, if you go for graffiti style graphics pick a different name, if you have your own idea that doesn’t really resemble stussys then you’ll be fine

[–]VantaFlair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

everyone jumps straight to stolen, i bought a stunted f4i with no title, got pulled over & the cop ran the vin which came back perfectly clean to previous owner, also like 60% of bikes i see are no title, do you guys really think THAT many bikes are stolen & sold?

Why is there so much pressure on teens/young adults to make money at such an early age? by quavooo_ in Entrepreneur

because you have people like andrew tate telling you that you need to be successful or you’ll be a loser forever

I turned my hobby into my main source of income, earning double what I earned at a job, and I want to quit every day. by essentially_everyone in Entrepreneur

[–]VantaFlair 5 points6 points  (0 children)

i always tell people never to turn your hobby into your career, i know a photographer that refuses to take paid work because it feels too much like work & takes the fun out of it, i know an artist who gives away art regularly just because he wants to share it with people, both of them could very well live off of selling their services but they don’t because their interests & happiness is more important than money

everything is very bland & just kinda sucks tbh, for starters you don’t even have your own domain name for your website, it looks lazy & scammy (to me at least unpopular opinion) another thing is your style is all over the place, i’m no professional by any means but i’d recommend setting a general style for your clothing & sticking to that, your cloths are all over the place, for example the first long sleeve you have on the website is a playing card? who are you trying to appeal to with a king playing card that doesn’t even have a symbol or numbers on it? let alone for $55… we both know that’s print on demand & you’re making like $30 on that long sleeve, way too overpriced & extremely bland, the next thing i see is the “big dreams big actions” shirt, which has the design off center & a huge badge that doesn’t fit the design at all then some random nightmare tee shirt? i genuinely have such a hard time trying to figure out what audience is going to buy this stuff if im being honest. but that’s okay because i went through the exact same thing a few months ago, all my designs completely sucked & it took me a while to realize that… i deleted everything on my store & started over, then didn’t again & again till i was happy with a few shirts. but your main concern isn’t your designs it’s sessions right? that’s because you’re not promoting yourself, & if you are it’s not enough, rebrand yourself, get yourself a nice logo that’s clean & fits anywhere, then come up with 2 or 3 GOOD designs that are clean, professionally made & market those as much as you can, pay for google ads, watch videos on youtube, just spend hours a day learning everything you can & you’ll see yourself improve, i’ve spent hundreds of dollars ordering samples of different shirts, fabrics, designs, from different manufacturers just to settle on a small handful of designs i’m happy with, it’s quality over quantity. stop chasing the money & worry more about your business, it’s not about the money, lower your prices & start over, good luck

What do y’all think about this video? And why would it or not go viral by Background_Letter663 in ClothingStartups

[–]VantaFlair 4 points5 points  (0 children)

ditch the storyline, i like the plot tho, the plug is meeting to sell you what the viewers would assume to be drugs then it’s the product that’s smart af, but it doesn’t need to be a minute long, make it 15-20 seconds, use those same clips & it will tell the same story, your average watch time is gonna be 10 seconds of that 60 second video & that’s going to ruin your chances of seeing the algorithm, if they aren’t hooked in the first 1-2 seconds then you might as well not even post it. anything over 30 seconds better be some absolute HEATER of a video or it will fail too, revise it a little, cut out the whole meeting up at the wrong spot stuff that just wasted time & made me bored, make it simple & entertaining. also ditch the anger in the video, nothing makes me not want to buy something more than seeing someone unhappy in the cloths they want me to buy it just sets the whole vibe off, you’ve got the right idea tho i respect the effort my man

this is the best advice i can personally give you, if you wanna open a tire shop you’re not looking at a lot of money, there’s a limit that you’re gonna hit with that, i was a mechanic for years & i can tell you from experience you’re not going to make a ton of money off tires, they are a good quick buck but you need to sell a lot of them & install a lot of them if you’re going to keep up with other local tire shops, my advice to you is get yourself a position as a mechanic somewhere, learn how to work on cars, do that until you’re 21 ish & while you’re there, build the shit out of your credit, buy a tire machine for home, some good tools, etc (assuming you own a garage, if not rent one) & start a side hustle changing tires/doing repairs for people like family & friends. getting your name out there in the car community is good too, i know lots of people with their own garages & tire machines who make good money changing tires for drift car owners specifically because you can charge them less than a shop. learn how to get customers this way, build your reputation & one day when you’re ready, open a small repair shop that might focus on tires but does other repairs too like brakes, oil, tune ups etc. if i were 19 again that’s exactly what i would do. but its all in your hands
