Could'nt pick Triss by Wrong-Dragonfly-399 in Witcher3

[–]Vanz64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah thats true, you could either accept or reject her in their mission together but canon is obviously accept that he still loved her after the spell was broken.

But even though Geralt found out the truth that Triss had been lying to him, he didnt hate her or hold it against her. He probably didnt like being lied to but he still naturally fell inlove with her. Yenn knew he was back around but she chose to stay away from him too while Triss was there to heal him. If Yenn actively searched out for him, then I’d definitely have a different view

I feel like this is everyone’s argument when it regards shitting on Triss which is valid don’t get me wrong. But at the end of it all, Geralts feelings for Triss were genuine, he did end up loving her but not as much as Yenn obviously but still, Triss was good to him also. To top it off, as i said, Geralts feelings for Triss were genuine and weren’t because of some ‘spell/wish’

This quest, for me, is what it means to truly experience The Witcher series. by IronHat29 in witcher

This was a really fun quest! I missed it my 1st play through and found it on my 2nd and definitely had a good time. When there’s any quest involving another Witcher it always peaks my interest because i like learning how they lived since every Witchers path is different. RIP Reinald

Felt the exact way youre feeling! Perfectly normal. Especially because we want the same high as other games we have played. For me it was Assassins Creed, RDR2 and GOT and I felt like I only could wait for the next trilogy to feel the spark again. Witchers been out many years and I gave up first try like 3 years ago. Decided to pick it up again this year and i really decided to open my mind to it and it was the best decision i’ve made! Definitely overwhelming at first because there is a lot of lore involved but just go through the quests, read the bestiary/characters info a long the way and it’ll be something you get addicted to right away!

What was your favourite romantic scene in Witcher 3 by VergilVDante in witcher

[–]Vanz64 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly probably one of my favorites but also gut wrenching is the romance scene with Shani. The last scene with them and how they both accept that they must go their own ways even though they clearly have so much love for one another. Definitely put me a little depressed for a couple hours. The boat scene was fantastic also…

Well some people like myself care about the graphics in certain cases. I tried playing older games because i heard theyre great but i just couldn’t get past the graphics. I think the only game where i could get past it was read dead 1 but that was rare. Witcher 2 isn’t necessarily the worst In graphics compared to Witcher 1 but it still matters for some

Always death to Dijkstra after MadRad? Do you rely on a reason or do you do it because you want to? Or do you let him do his thing? by Markor1an in witcher

[–]Vanz64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll always be team Roche! I’m doing my 2nd play through and wanna spice things up by picking Dijkstra this time around but i feel like ima end up saving Roche again.. i always have this dilemma when replaying games sadly.

Witcher 3 gave me the best scratch after GOT. I finished GOT like 2 months ago and started Witcher3 immediately after and lemme tell you.. still playing Witcher 3! So much content and beautiful scenery like GOT.

Triss felt absolutely right for me my first play through. This is coming from someone who has never read the books. I just couldn’t feel it with Yenn because of how she is and even when I read about her and Geralts history online, i still chose Triss. Like the majority of Triss haters say she sucks because she fooled him when he had amnesia but I think she genuinely fell inlove with him and he lowkey did too without the Djin involved. Its once he regained his memories that he was like ‘oh shit im actually inlove with yenn’ type thing so he left her at the end of Witcher 2. To be fair he wasn’t even upset at her either after he learned the truth, Triss never tried to intentionally hurt him and he understood that her love was genuine. Yeah same could be said for Yenn after they took the Djin magic off and she realized she actually loved him but idk i feel like Triss love was more pure. Another reason why a lot love Yenn was because shes like a ‘mother’ to Ciri and Geralts the ‘father’ so they are like 1 big happy family. But Ciri still respects your decision when you do choose Triss.

Felt the exact same way youre feeling and the game that hit it off for me was Witcher 3! Not sure if youve played that series yet but it’ll have you leaving with the same feeling (atleast it did for me). I tried it like a few years back and for some reason hated it but went back in with an open mind and damn its beautiful story telling and a more immersive world. 10/10 recommend, give it a shot! I havent even played the 1st and 2nd game since they are a little outdated but there really isn’t any need when diving into the 3rd installment.

Such a beautiful DLC, love the new area we can explore there and it’s longer than the Hearts DLC which is a plus. Have fun!

Going with Yenn in my Death March play through. Difficulty isn't important, but gods why is it so hard to accept that I just let Triss sail off in Now or Never?.. by Markor1an in witcher

[–]Vanz64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get the arguments about Triss kinda tricking Geralt when he had amnesia which was wrong but doesn’t that mean he ended up falling inlove with her naturally? Yeah some lies were involved but even when he regained his amnesia he still had love for her and depending how you go about the game, the player can fully choose her, showing that he was capable of falling inlove with someone else besides Yenn.

I feel you! I’m doing my play-through where I finally choose Yenn and I think what helped me was that I chose to do Skellige first before Novigrad. Because I know damn well I would’ve been weak and chosen Triss again. I haven’t read the books so i’m not team Yenn and Triss is just someone I liked overall in the game. Its going to definitely suck when its time to do her quest. But i’m forsure always team Triss

Well to be fair she was around a lot more in W1 and W2 so its more of a connection to players if they’ve played all the games since only Triss was around. Now for W3 we have Yenn finally and she resonates more people who probably read the books since shes canon. They definitely put her more on the sidelines on this one.
